[Thirty Five]

***Lexi's POV***

'meet me in the backyard in 10 (:'

I smiled, and put my phone down on my nightstand. I walked over to my closet and threw on a coral bikini, with a t-shirt over it. I quickly put my hair into a messy bun on top of my head, and walked downstairs. I opened the sliding glass doors that lead to the backyard, and stepped out. I looked around, and walked onto the grass.

"Uh, Cam-" I started, but icy water hit my back. I turned around, and saw Cameron smirking, holding a water balloon. I took of my t-shirt and threw it to the side, when a continuous spray of water hit my back. I turned around to see my brother, with Ava, holding water guns.

"At least make it fair!" I said, running towards the hose. I noticed a bucket with water balloons, and smirked, grabbing some.

I ran back, and threw a few at Cameron. He chuckled, and started chasing me. I aimlessly threw the other two I had behind me, hoping I hit him.

I felt two strong hands grab my waist, and I was picked up off the ground.

"Hey!" I yelled, laughing. Cameron put me in a bucket of icy water, and my brother sprayed the hose at me. He laughed, and Ava winked at me from behind him. She threw three water balloons at his back, and he started chasing her, too.

I grabbed the water gun that was laying on the grass next to me, and sprayed Cameron. I couldn't run, though, I was stuck in a bucket.

Cameron helped me out, and dumped a smaller bucket filled with water on my head. I jumped on his back, and he grabbed my thighs so I wouldn't fall back. I started laughing as Cameron ran towards my brother and Ava. I sprayed them with the water gun, and it soon became a full out war.

We were probably outside for an hour, just messing around. Ava and my brother decided that they wanted to go to the beach, and invited us to go.

Obviously we agreed, and decided on taking my brother's pick-up truck. Cameron and I sat in the back, while him and Ava sat inside the truck.

"5 more days." I said, looking up at Cameron.

"I know." He smiled.

"Do you think Magcon will be any different this time?" I asked a little louder, to be heard over the wind.

"I don't know, maybe." Cameron simply said, and I nodded.

I already feel myself falling for him all over again. Can I trust myself with him? He already broke my heart, and I don't know if I can take it again.

Maybe I won't be able to take it again, but how would I know without trying? Maybe Taylor was right. Maybe I don't want to throw away everything we had yet, and maybe I'm not ready to let him go.

Maybe I haven't stopped loving him.

Cameron gently played with my fingers, as we watched the stars in the sky. Ava and Mike were walking along the beach, while we were laying on our backs in the sand.

"Do you think that in 10 years, none of this will really matter anymore?" I asked quietly, and Cameron propped himself up on his elbow, facing me.

"What do you mean?"

"I don't know, this. Magcon, our problems right now. Everything." I asked.

"I think that our Magcon family will stay together. It's us against the world, right? And for everything else, I don't know. I haven't really planned that far ahead yet." He said quietly, and I sat up.

"Me either. I don't really know why I asked that." I said, studying his face.

"It's alright. I don't blame you. I just want to be right here, right now, with you." Cameron said, and I smiled.

"Me too." I said quietly, and we both laid back down, watching the stars.
