[Twenty]

***Lexi's POV***

"Wanna talk about it?" Cameron asked.

Cameron drove us to a cliff that over looked the city. It was quiet up here, and the view was breathtaking. We sat about 15 feet away from the car, with our legs hanging over the edge. It wasn't too dark, but the stars were bright.

"There's nothing to say. He cheated on me with some pretty blonde slut." I mumbled.

"At least you found out before things got serious." Cameron said, trying to pull the positives out of it.

"I guess so. I just don't feel upset about it. I wasn't even sad when I saw him, just... mad. Is it weird to feel that way?" I asked, looking up at Cameron.

He shurrged, "Maybe you guys weren't that close for the relationship. You were apart for almost two months, what should you expect?" He said.

"Yeah." I chuckled bitterly, "I guess I wasn't good enough for him." I said, looking down.

Cameron gently took my chin in between his fingers. "Hey, look at me." He said, guiding my face up to see his deep, brown eyes.

"It's alright to be upset or mad about it, but don't ever say that you weren't good enough. You're perfect the way you are, Lexi. If anything, Andrew didn't deserve you." He whispered, "I don't deserve you."

Our faces were inches apart, and he started to lean in. Maybe an inch away, my stomach started getting butterflies.

Then, the worst thing possible happened.

Cameron's phone rang.

We pulled apart, and I awkwardly looked down at my lap, while Cam quickly pulled out his phone.

"Hello?" He said into the speaker.

"Ok, yeah, bye." Cameron said, and hung up.

"Sorry. It's, um, it's getting late." He said.

"Yeah." I said, and we got up, going back to the car.

"I'm home!" I yelled into the unusually quiet house, and walked upstairs to my room.

"11:32. I like him." My dad said from the top of the stairs, and I rolled my eyes.

"Did you have fun?" He asked, kissing my forehead.

"Yeah. I saw Andrew." I said.

"And?" My dad asked.

"We're over. I'm tired, night, dad." I said, trying to go around him.

"Over?" He asked, and I nodded.

"It was for the better." I simply said, not wanting to get into details. I managed to get around my dad, and go into my room.

I quickly changed, took off my makeup, and jumped into bed.
