[Eighteen]

***Lexi's POV***

"I think we should go to the fair." Jack J suggested.

"I'm in." Matt said.

"I'll go." Hailey said, and we all agreed.

*

"HURRY UP!" Matt yelled, jumping around.

"Alright, calm down." Taylor laughed as we walked to the ticket booth. We all bought those bracelets where you could go on any ride you wanted.

Carter picked the first ride, and he decided on the biggest roller-coaster in the park.

"Dude..." Cameron trailed off.

"Come on, Cameron. PLEASSEEE." Carter begged.

"Fine." He mumbled, and everyone ran towards the ride, but Cameron gently grabbed my wrist.

"Only if you sit with me." He said, giving me puppy-dog eyes.

"Alright, let's go." I said, rolling my eyes, and pulled him towards the ride.

Carter and Hailey sat in the front, then Matt, Taylor, and Shawn, then Jack G and Jack J, then Nash and Hailey, then Cameron and I.

The roller-coaster started to head up, and Cameron looked around nervously. I grabbed his hand reassuringly, and smiled at him. We reached the top, and a couple seconds later, went speeding down. Screams and laughter was heard, and the whole time, Cam didn't let go of my hand.

"That was fun." Cameron said as we got out.

"Mhm. I told you." I said teasingly, while he rolled his eyes.

*

We went on almost ever ride at the fair, and it was now 12:08.

"Nash, can we please go on the ferris wheel?" Maddy asked sweetly, holding Nash's hand.

"Fine, anyone coming?" Nash asked.

"Nah, we're gunna go to the food court. Meet us there after." Matt said, walking off with Jack G, Jack J, Taylor, and Shawn.

"Looks like you're coming with me." I said to Cameron, who groaned.

"Please, Cam." I said, giving my puppy-dog eyes, like what he did earlier.

"Fine." He mumbled, and we got on.

We sat in a comfortable silence, and I just watched the people below us.

Once we stopped at the top, Cameron spoke.

"Are you excited to be going home?" He asked, and I sighed.

"Kind of. I miss my family and all, but I want to stay. It's almost like a dream that you don't want to wake up from." I said, facing him. He nodded.

"I know the feeling. Maybe we can meet up in Cali, yeah?" Cam asked, and I smiled.

"That would be great." I said.

"Are you excited to see Andrew?" He asked, and I thought for a second, before answering.

"Oh, um, yeah." I said, and Cameron nodded, while the ferris wheel started moving again.

We soon reached the bottom, and got off. Cameron and I walked over to the food court to meet the guys. They all looked ready to fall asleep, so we went back to the hotel.

Before I went into my room, I hugged Taylor goodnight like I usually do.

Once inside my hotel room, I walked to my suitcase and grabbed a pair of spandex with a t-shirt. I quickly changed, and hopped into bed, falling asleep within 5 minutes.

"Text, ok?" Taylor mumbled into my hair, and I pulled away, then nodded.

We were all at the airport, ready to go on flights back home. It would be a month before our next tour.

"Here." I handed Jack G his burgundy hoodie, and he shook his head.

"Keep it. I have another back home." He smiled sadly, and gave me a bear hug. He was probably the best hugger.

"I'll call, alright?" I said, and he nodded.

There was a couple more hugs, and soon enough, we were all on separate planes.

"I hope Nash doesn't forget about me." Maddy said from beside me, and I rolled my eyes.

"It's a month, Mad, not a year." I said, and she sighed.

"I know. It's just that he could have any girl he wants." She mumbled, and Hailey reached over, smacking her arm playfully.

"Shut up, Maddy. He chose you for a reason." She said, and I nodded.

"We can go back to our normal lives for a month, ok?" I said, and they both nodded.

I leaned back in my seat, and thought for a second. Would our lives even be normal again?
