[Thirty Six]

***Lexi's POV***

"Hey, dad." I said, walking into the kitchen.

"Hey, sweetie. Pancakes?" He asked, and I nodded. I walked over to the pantry an got out the ingredients, while he got out the mixing bowl.

"Oh, someone left those for you." He said, gesturing towards a bouquet of roses. I didn't even notice them there.

"For me?" I asked, walking towards them. I saw a small note stuck in between two roses, and gently took it out.

'Roses are beautiful, but not as beautiful as you. We have 4 more days, and I'm not done yet. Meet me by the café at 2. -Cam'

I smiled at the note, and stuck it into my pocket, walking back over to my dad.

"Who were they from?" He asked, stirring the pancake batter.

"Oh, there wasn't a note." I said. I hate lying to my dad, but I don't need him questioning me about it.

"Alright." He said, handing my the batter. I poured some into the pan, waiting for them to heat up a little.

"So, have you heard from your friend Cameron?" He asked, and I flipped a pancake.

"Um, yeah. We're hanging out later, actually." I said, and my dad nodded.

"That's good. I can't believe you're leaving again in 4 days." He said with a chuckle.

"I know. 4 days isn't a lot of time." I said, thinking about Cameron's promise.

My dad sighed, "No, it's not."

I stepped out of the shower, and quickly dried off. I pulled on a pair of white jean shorts, and a grey muscle t-shirt with a white bandeau. I blowed out my hair until it was 100% dry, and straightened it. I applied a little mascara and eyeliner, not in the mood for a ton of makeup.

I walked out of the bathroom at 1:37. I had time before I had to leave, so I went on Twitter. I followed back a couple of fans, answered a few of my mentions, and tweeted a simple hi.

"Hey!" I called out to Cameron while walking towards him, who turned around and smiled at me.

"Hey." He said.

"I liked the roses." I said, linking arms with him. He grinned.

"Good." Cam said. We started walking towards the boardwalk, where a fair was being held.

"I'm buying my own bracelet." I said, pointing my finger at him. He shook his head, and ran towards the ticket booth. I ran after him, but he already handed the cashier the money.

"I hate you." I said as he put the bracelet on for me.

"No you don't." He said cockily. I rolled my eyes.

We walked around, and went on almost every ride. It was about 5 o'clock when we got on the ferris wheel.

"So, Mr. Romance, where to after this?" I asked, using the name Maddy and Hailey gave him during the scavenger hunt.

"Mr. Romance?" He asked, raising his eyebrows.

"Long story. Now, answer my question." I said, pointing my finger at him. Cameron chuckled.

"It's a surprise." He said.

"Everything is a surprise with you." I said playfully, looking out at the view.
