The Missing Piece.

Surprise!

I walked through the doors of school trying to forget about my dad, but I really hope that he bought what I had texted. I ran over to Nicole and started talking to her "Oh my gosh. I just remembered that they were calling for you to go to the office." Nicole said while pulling her sleeve more onto her shoulder as I picked up all of my bags and started running down the halls "Wait! Sky come back!" I heard Nicole scream while running after me so I stopped running "What I don't want to keep them waiting I must be late already." I said trying to get Nicole to hurry and after she stopped running I thought she was breathing hard, but she was laughing "What?" I asked still trying to catch my breath "It was a joke." she laughed then she paused to catch her breath and the inner com came over and said "We need Skylar Hamilton to the office." our expressions completely changed as I walked the last few steps to the office.

I walked into the office and the first person I spotted was the principal Mr.Keith "Good your here." he said motioning for me to stand beside him as he turned on every inner com "Sorry for this interruption. Would you tell them the exciting news?" Mr.Keith asked while stepping aside "Shawn Mendes is going to be preforming at our school. Tomorrow." I said while I heard cheering from every class room in the school while walking back outside for my free period. I stepped outside and took a deep breath in smelling the freshly cut grass and the sound of car tires out on the little drive right beside the little field of grass. I heard someone with high heels walking on the concrete to go from outdoors to indoors and when I looked up it was Mack. I had my ear buds in as soon as I had walked outside and my favorite song was now blasting in my ear and Mack walked up to me. I tried to ignore her but she was practically waving in my face, so I took out my ear buds and turned off my music "What?" I asked thinking it was going to be another prank "There's a man in a car back there that's been honking and yelling your name for the past minute." she said before walking off.

I turned around and looked up and sure enough there was a man in a car. I just sat there for a minute then I heard the man yell out "Skylar! Skylar come here!" chills ran down my spine then I noticed I wasn't wearing anything that had my name on it. I slowly walked towards the man in the car to get a better look at him. "I have a puppy." the man said "I don't care. I'm allergic to dogs." I said still feet away from the man "Hun come here." the man said and I started to slowly back away as if he was a lion or some other animal "I have a locket from your mother and it matches the one you have." one thought ran through my mind when he said that I thought 'this man found me and killed my mother and now he's after me.' my heart raced as he threw the locket at my feet as I slowly bent down and picked it up I measured it up to my locket which I had got from my dad. Dad was the only person that knew about the locket because he got it for me on my birthday and told me to never tell mum, and yet he got her one too. Mum's locket said 'love you to the moon and back; love Chad' and mine said 'your forever in my mind princess love dad' I cried while I said "Dad?" and the man nodded I slowly backed off and ran I threw open the doors and hid in the girls bathroom and just cried.

While in the bathroom I blocked dad's number and texted mum about what happened and she said that she would take care of it then I got a text

Blocked number: Sry I guess I got the wrong number and information. I'll never text you again.

I was relived that dad would now leave me alone. I have no idea what mum did but she was right she took care of it.
