when the game ended, tyler and josh walked back to the car. tyler still breathed heavy from all the running around he did. honestly, he couldn't of asked for a better night.

as they hopped in josh's old volkswagen, he started it up. tyler stared out the window for a few minutes before the realization hit him.

"josh?"

"hm?" josh kept driving down the road, headed to tylers house.

"was this, uh you know- a date?" tyler shyly bit his lip, looking at josh from the corner of his eye. josh chuckled slightly as he blushed fiercely. "uh, well- i mean yeah. if-if you wanted it to be." he answered, trying to hide the enormous grin on his face. tyler blushed as josh rested his free hand on tylers knee while he drove.

when tyler noticed they were on the route to his house he quickly spoke up, he didn't want to go home now. "wait josh, can we go back to your house?"

"oh yeah- sure." josh blinked, rerouting the destination to his house instead. tyler swallowed harshly as they entered josh's driveway. josh smirked as he put the car in park. tyler quickly hopped out, meeting with josh on the other side of the car. josh locked their fingers together, pulling him along into the house.

"we're back!" josh called out but got no response. he turned towards tyler, furrowing his eyebrows. tyler giggled slipping off his shoes, following josh into the kitchen.

"touché." josh raised his eyebrows, holding a piece of paper that laid on the counter. "i guess they went out for a while." he laughed chucking the note his parents left for him out of the way. "oh." tyler pressed his lips together in a line.

josh grabbed tylers hand again in his. he dragged him upstairs into his room. "movie?" josh suggested shutting his door behind him as he entered. "sure." tyler agreed sitting down on josh's duvet covered bed.

when the show was over, tyler knew for sure josh was on the verge of drifting to sleep. tyler couldn't sleep though, he's had one thing on his mind for a while now. it was eating him alive, metaphorically because well, it was something he really wanted. that thing was from josh.

tyler wanted josh to make love to him. maybe it was a selfish thing to think. maybe josh didn't want any of that, but tyler certainly did. as tyler laid awake, his stomach in knots, he couldn't take it anymore. he slowly stirred around, josh's hands around his waist. tyler stared at josh, as his eyelashes rested upon his cheeks.

tyler was content for a moment until josh shifted slightly, almost knowing he was being watched. he mumbled slightly, opening one eye as tyler stared.

"hmm, aren't you gonna go to sleep? or are you some vampire that only watches people do so?" josh joked, pulling tyler closer to him. "i can't sleep." tyler stated, running his fingers down josh's side. "anything bothering you?" josh asked, looking at tyler with sleepy, chocolate eyes.

"actually, yes." he gulped, trying not to cause too much panic in josh. "about what? you can tell me baby." josh immediately woke up, placing his hands on tylers hips, rubbing small circles, calmingly. "it's- it's really stupid. i don-"

"nothing's stupid if it's bothering you." josh pecked tylers forehead. "tell me." he pleaded. "um, i" tylers face flustered a bright pink shade, as he buried his face in josh's chest. "i want to ha-ave sex wi-with you." tyler mustered out, sheepishly. "what?" josh smiled, rubbing tylers back soothingly. "ty, i love you so much and," he paused to let out a sigh "you know, that's like a huge step. i wanna make sure you're ready and comfortable." josh reasoned.

"how about you think about it for a couple days then tell me, okay?" josh cupped tylers cheek in his hands. "i love you." tyler leaned in, pressing his lips to josh's. loving and passionate. "thank you." tyler mumbled against his mouth.

"sleep?" josh fluttered his eyes closed, holding tyler close to him, feeling his warmth. "yes." tyler giggled, rolling his eyes a little. he rested his head on josh chest as it rose and fell with the sound of his heartbeat. it wasn't long until they fell asleep in each other's arms, contently.
