tyler picked his head up to the sound of a car door slamming. he watched in stupor as the bright haired boy ran across the street to were he sat on the curb. "hi." josh collapsed next to tyler as sniffles could still be heard from the small boy. "are you okay?" his face showed concern and distress. he went to place his hand on tylers knee before he flinched at the action. "sorry," josh scolded himself. "tell me what happened."

tyler released a heavy breath. "he- i told him to stop and he just didn't. i didn't like it, h-" tyler got cut off my his own weeps. josh swallowed thickly, showing sorrow for the crying boy.

"can i hug you?" josh could feel the lump growing in his throat as tyler nodded slowly with pleading eyes. the yellow haired boy wrapped his arms around tylers side as he sobbed into his neck. josh could feel his heart aching for the boy in his arms. the smell of alcohol could be detected on tyler but he didn't care. all he wanted to do was comfort him.

as tyler clung desperately onto josh, leaving tears stains on his t-shirt, he felt his stomach flip. not in the good way either. hiccups escaped his lips only making the feeling worse.

"i don't feel good." he pulled away from josh holding his head in discomfort. josh knew what was happening. "let's get you home." josh stood up, grabbing the brunettes arms in the process. tyler stumbled up, as josh held onto his waist so he wouldn't fall.

"wait, did you say you were gonna take me home?" tyler stopped in his tracks, as josh nodded in confusion. "you can't! no please don't take me home, anywhere but my house!" he panicked, almost falling over. "ty," the bright haired boy gripped him gently. "be careful. i-i can take you to my house?" tyler looked up at josh, panic fading from his demeanor. "yeah" he mumbled.

josh helped tyler make his way over to the car, as tyler clumsily tripped on his feet. when they got to josh's car, he opened the passenger side for tyler to get in. the brunette stared blankly for a moment before turning around, looking at josh with nervousness. "wha-"

"i'm gonna throw up."

with that josh jolted out of the way while tyler hurled over, clutching his stomach. josh watched as the small boy emptied his stomach on the ground in front of him. he placed his hand on tylers back, rubbing small circles onto it. the boy finally stood up, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand with a disgusted look on his face.

"you okay?" the bright haired boy followed tylers movements with his eyes. tyler just nodded with the biggest frown on his face. he needed sleep. josh assisted tyler into the passenger seat as tyler fluttered his eyes closed.

josh heard tyler mumble under his breath as he leaned over tyler to buckle him in. "joshh." tyler whined, pouting his lip. "what?" the bright haired boy couldn't help but smile, he just looked so cute. "i said i love you." the drunk boy opened his eyes, to be directly met with joshs. that's what made josh want to kiss him right then, but he knew he couldn't. "i love you too." he sighed, pushing the buckle in its spot.

josh jogged around the car before hopping in the drivers side. he started the car before he looked over at tyler as he leaned against the car door, tiredly.

when josh pulled into his driveway, he tried his best not to wake up tyler as he slept against the vehicles window. that plan soon got discarded when tyler shifted in the uncomfortable seat. the yellow haired boy quietly got out of the car to rush to the other side.

he opened the door tyler once was leaned against, unbuckling the seatbelt carefully. "tyler.." josh shook him slightly trying to get him at least conscious enough to take him upstairs. the small boy emitted a loud groan before turning towards josh. "we're here."

josh scooped tyler up bridal style, as he walked up the stairs to his house. thank god he wasn't that heavy. when he got the door open, he walked inside taking tyler up the stairs.

he carried tyler to his room, setting him on the bed before jolting back down the stairs to get medicine for the boy waiting upstairs.

"take this." the bright haired boy opened his palm to reveal two pills. the drunk boy sat up on the bed with his eyes half shut. he quickly downed the two pills, desperate for his raging headache to disappear. sure when we first started drinking it felt good, but now since the alcohol was wearing off, his whole body ached.

josh stood in front of tyler, who kept fluttering his eyes closed. "it's hot in here" he suddenly blurted out in a sleepy voice. "well yeah, you're wearing a hoodie.." josh muttered. tyler lifted his arms above his head, signaling for josh to take it off.

the yellow haired boy chuckled a little, inching towards tyler. he grabbed the end of his hoodie. he pulled it over the boys head, as his heart dropped from the sight in front of him.

josh's whole body was in shock as he glanced at tylers fresh scars. josh couldn't help but feel overwhelmingly guilty. he let this happen. this was his fault.

he quickly got pulled from his thoughts by tylers slight groans of frustration. he had been trying to unbutton his top for the last minute and couldn't even get the first button undone. "here, let me help you." the yellow haired boy started undoing tylers top. he didn't say anything about his scars, no matter how bad he felt. he didn't want to make tyler more uncomfortable than he already was.

when tyler was stripped of his shirt he fell back on josh's mattress starting to fiddle with his jeans now. "pants too?" he watched the drunk boy huff in annoyance. he rolled his eyes before helping him with his pants, now.

"better?" josh smiled sheepishly as tyler was left in his underwear. the small boy nodded in appreciation as he shifted in the bed to get comfortable. tyler fluttered his eyes open for a split second, locking them with joshs dull sad ones. "can i lay with you?" josh blurted out as he bit his lip shyly.

josh's heart felt like it was breaking in two and all we wanted was to hold tyler close and never let go. tyler mumbled a 'yes', scooting over slightly. josh climbed onto the bed, laying a few inches away from tyler. he didn't know if tyler felt comfortable snuggling, that was until the brunette closed the space between them.

he grabbed josh's arm, placing it around his waist. he buried his face in the older boys t-shirt covered chest. tyler locked one of their hands together, while tugging on josh's shirt with the other. "why are you wearing clothes? won't you get hot?" tyler whined, mumbling against josh's shirt.

"you'll thank me in the morning." was all josh said. it was the truth. he didn't want to upset tyler in any way, especially since he probably wouldn't remember anything in the morning. the small boy hummed before falling asleep to the sound of josh's heartbeat.
