tyler woke up in the comfort of josh's arms. he stirred quietly in the bed, bringing his hand against his face to block out the vibrant, saturday morning, sun coming through the curtains.

he sat up on the mattress as it made a small squeak. a sigh escaped his plump lips. he ran a hand through his mess of a hair, making it look a little better.

tylers eyes shifted around the room, before they landed on the boy beside him. josh's chest rose and fell slightly, as he exhaled smoothly. tyler watched contently, josh's faint snores warming his heart.

tyler flicked his gaze up to the sound of his doorknob rattling. "tyler?" kelly called out from the other side. "uh, hold on!" he whispered loudly enough for his mother to hear. as he shifted off the bed, trying his best not to wake josh, he began putting on a shirt from the floor.

"i made breakfast, just come down when you're done." kelly became impatient. tyler sighed, now knowing he got out of bed for no reason. he just decided to wake josh up, now.

his small frame hovered over josh who slept peacefully, he almost didn't wanna wake him up. "joshhh" tyler started shaking him out of his slumber. josh emitted a low groan as he started waking.

"tylerrr" josh mimicked, rolling over to face the small boy beside him. tyler traced his hand down josh's arm, leaving goosebumps down it. he fluttered his eyes open, revealing a grinning tyler. josh quickly returned the smile, showing is dimples and all.

"my mom made breakfast, wanna go eat?" tyler mentioned, resting his hands on josh's shoulders as he sat up fully. the eldest trailed his hands up tylers hips, making the shirt he had on hike up a little. "yes." josh pulled him closer, their faces brushing against each other for a brief moment.

"is that my shirt?" josh gestured towards the clothing that clung onto tyler. tyler froze for a second, reviewing his actions as he remembered he did, in fact pick up josh's shirt. a slight blush formed on tylers delicate cheeks before he backed away from josh's hold. "oh, sorry." he gripped the end of the material in his hands, starting to slip it off his tiny body.

"no-" josh stood quickly grasping tylers wrist to stop him from pulling it off. "don't, it-it looks good on you." a cheesy smile appeared on josh's face. "oh, okay."

the duo quickly got dressed as they stumbled down the stairs together. tyler let out a yelp as josh gave a little slap to his bum. this catching his mothers attention, as tylers face became tinged with a bright shade of red.

they situated at the kitchen table with their food kelly made. "thanks mom." tyler credited his mother for the food. "thanks ms. joseph." josh beamed before stuffing his face full of the delicious breakfast, more like brunch.

"come on josh, i'm pretty sure you know me well enough to say my name now." kelly rolled her eyes sarcastically. "right." he muttered. they two boys engulfed the food as kelly rested against the counter watching the t.v from across the room. however it was so low, she could hardly hear it.

"so what'd you boys do last night?" kelly chirped out of nowhere, expecting to hear an exciting story. tyler froze immediately not expecting the comment. he quickly panicked as he shot josh a 'make something up, fast!' look. "uhh-" josh stuttered, shifting his eyes from tyler to his half empty plate. tyler nudged him secretly, taking a sip of his milk. kelly rested her head in her hand, propped up with her elbow. tyler glared at josh waiting for him to say something as the awkward silence was far too much.

"we just- you know, did guy things." the older boy turned towards tyler with panicked eyes. 'i don't know what to say!' he mouthed to tyler, he was facing the other way of kelly so she wouldn't see. but, she obviously could see tyler as they were staring blankly at each other. "what are 'guy things'." kelly chuckled, furrowing her eyebrows slightly.

"video games!" tyler blurted out as it came to his mind. he grinned awkwardly at his mother as she nodded her head. "cool! hey i'm gonna run to the store, do you guys need anything?"

"we're good mom." tyler sighed, getting up from the table and washing his dish off in the sink. josh followed tylers actions. "okay, i'll be back." and with that she was out the door.

josh let out a breath he didn't know he was holding in. "oh my god. that's was so weird." tylers eyes widened just thinking about it again. "yeah, nice save." the bright haired boy laughed as he walked closer to tyler. the brunette shuttered at the close proximity of them.

"keep it." josh muttered in tylers ear.

"what?"

"the shirt, keep it."
