tyler woke up with arms wrapped around his figure and an outrageous migraine. he squinted his eyes, not used to the sudden light that appeared in the room. he stirred around in the bed, to come face to face with josh.

at that moment he was utterly confused. he didn't remember anything except going to a party. nothing about how he got to josh's house, or what they did. and that's when he noticed he was only in his boxers. what did they do last night.

josh opened his eyes from all the moving of the mattress. he was met with tylers uncomfortableness before he quickly removed his hands from the small boys body. "uh, hi." josh cleared his throat.

tyler sat up on the bed next to the yellow haired boy. "hi.." he muttered as his head started pounding. he rushed his hands against his temples trying to ease the pain. "i'll be right back." josh noticed tylers discomfort as he went downstairs to get more medicine.

"here." josh handed tyler pills that were less strong than the ones from last night. "thanks, um- what happened last night?" he popped the pills in his mouth looking at josh with worry. "oh, you were really wasted and called me." josh felt the tension and curiosity in the air from tyler stripped of his clothes and josh fully clothed. "um-"

"you said you were hot." the yellow haired boy scratched the back of his neck. "so y-you took off your clothes, uh" josh chuckled nervously. "oh." tyler looked around the room with confused still present in his mind. he hopped of the bed and began searching for his clothes. as he started putting on his pants josh just watched curiously. "i should probably get going." tyler uncomfortably slid on the rest of his clothes.

"oh," josh tried to hide the sadness in his voice, which clearly didn't work by the guilty look on the others face. "uh- do you need a ride? i can take you." tyler reached for his phone, pretending to text someone on it. "um, you don't have to. i can walk." he turned off his phone, looking anywhere other than josh's eyes.

"you know i'm not gonna let you do that. come on, i can drive you." the older boy stood up to walk out of his room. tyler felt a pang in his chest at the offer. he grumbled, following close behind josh.

josh quickly dropped tyler off at his house. he almost let those three words slip out of his mouth, but knew it wasn't appropriate at the moment. he watched as tyler approached his house, making sure he got in safely. before he closed the door, they exchanged a little wave goodbye.

as josh was already out of the house, he decided to ask ashley if he could come over. obviously she said yes to anything josh asked, they were basically brother and sister.

josh made his way over to ashley's house. he pulled into her driveway, before walking up her porch steps. he knocked a couple times until a blue haired ashley appeared behind the door. "come in." she grinned, inviting josh inside. he followed her inside, walking past the living room her parents were situated in.

"josh is here, we'll be in my room." ashley said before making her way up the stairs. she usually didn't spend much time talking with her parents about a guess being over, knowing they are extremely friendly. josh knew this because one time they wouldn't stop chatting with him when he first became friends with her. josh liked this about her parents, they were basically his second family.

"okay sweetie!" her mother looked up from her book, to greet josh. he gave them a simple wave, before following the blue haired girl up to her room.

ashley sat on the end of her bed, patting the spot beside her for josh. "what did you wanna talk about?" she questioned as josh sat next to her. he let out a heavy sigh holding his head in his hands. "what's wrong?" ashley's demeanor changed instantly into concern for her best friend. "tyler.." the yellow haired boy let out a shaky breath. he knew he was ready to break down.

"what happened?" ashley put her hand on josh's shoulder, making him jump slightly. he lifted his head up, staring directly into ashley's worried eyes. "he-he slept over last night and i don't know what to do.." silent tears started rolling down josh's pale cheeks. "he slept over, at your house?" ashleys mind was clouded with confusion. "not like that." josh groaned. "he was drunk, we didn't do anything. he didn't talk to me before last night. i love him so much, as-hley.." there was silence for a few seconds before josh spoke up again.

"and i don't think he feels the same way any more. i fucked up, and i don't wanna live if i can't have him." josh's voice cracked every so often. "don't say that, josh." ashley instantly snapped from her thoughts.

"say what? th-the truth? it seems like everyone's happy now, except for me." josh quickly jolted up, walking towards the door. "i can't do this." ashley got up after him before he could reach the door. she pulled him into a tight hug, rubbing his back soothingly. "it's gonna be okay." she whispered as josh cried onto her shoulder, letting his emotions break free.
