they approached the building with the neon lights on the sign saying 'laser tag'. tyler would be lying if he said he wasn't excited. he hasn't been laser tagging since he can remember.

as they entered, josh went up to the counter to pay for the game. tyler rushed josh over to the line as they waited for the next game to start. tyler rested his head on josh's shoulder. some people gave them weird looks as he did so. this didn't bother josh at all as he wrapped his arm around tyler waist, tighter.

the man that worked there called out that a new game was starting. tyler beamed at josh in excitement as they entered the huge 'glow in the dark' room. it had two levels, with big barriers to hide around. tyler and josh walked over to the yellow team, as they read the screen that lit up the room.

no teams! everyone against everyone

it didn't really matter what color they had now, since it was vs everyone. tyler grabbed a vest, slipping it on his body. he buckled it up, holding the gun with his left hand. josh did the same, pointing the gun towards tyler jokingly as he made little 'pew' sounds. tyler giggled, coving his face, embarrassed.

they both looked up when the screen started counting down, as the lights started dimming even more. the room became lit up with a neon tint. tyler turned towards josh and started giggling hysterically. "what?" josh's eyes widened when everyone looked at him.

"your hair." tyler covered his mouth with his hand trying to muffle his laughter. "wh-what? does it look bad?" josh panicked, touching his hair trying to fix it. "no- no josh, it's glowing." tyler grabbed his hands, putting them back down to his sides. "it looks sick as frick." tyler reassured.

the timer counted down, signaling the players to scatter around the area to find a starting spot. tyler and josh split up, finding their own hiding spot before the game started. tyler hid behind a wall, hearing the counting getting closer and closer to the start of the game.

tyler knew exactly what he was going to do. he was gonna find josh and beat him. well, tyler does have a competitive side, so of course he was gonna at least try and win.

when he heard the ding of a bell, everyone started running around and the sounds of electronic noises filled the air. tyler tried his best to protect his vest not letting anyone shoot it. it worked for a couple minutes until some kid spotted him and attacked him with his laser gun.

tyler wandered around for a while trying to find his bright haired 'friend'. he thought it would be a lot easier to find him since his hair is glowing.

he noticed a little flash of yellow from behind a barrier. tyler quickly but quietly sneaked around it holding his gun up at the ready. when he got to the other side josh was peaking through a hole that was placed in the wall, targeting people from there. with his back towards tyler, tyler pulled the trigger, sending a laser light towards josh's vest.

"huh?" josh turned around revealing tyler. tyler held the gun up by his face, a finger on the trigger. "gotcha!" he chuckled, finger still on the trigger even though josh's vest was still reloading from being shot.

josh put his hands up, surrendering as tyler still held the gun up. tyler backed away as josh walked towards him. they did this until tyler bumped into another wall, eyes widening. josh smirked as he watched tyler closely. he knew he was gonna run. tyler grinned for a minute before bolting away from josh. but before he could get far josh wrapped his arms around the boy pulling him close. tyler yelped a little, pulling glances from the other players.

josh began to leave small kisses to tyler neck, making him squeal laughter. josh placed a kiss by tylers ear, whispering something.

"go." with that he let go of tyler as he pointed the gun at him, earning a point with his shot at tyler's vest. tyler scurried away, getting as much points as possible before the game ended.
