tyler walked confidently through the hallway. ever since he's meet jenna, and they became friends, he been more positive. though deep down he did still felt broken, he decided to push those thoughts aside and live.

as he made his way down the hallway jenna passed by. she gave him a wave while walking to her class, arms full with her books which made it hard to get tylers attention. it almost resulted with her yelling his name though out the halls until he finally spotted her in the crowd. tyler smiled at the gesture, returning it immediately, showing his dimples and all. maybe it was the way the blonde haired girl radiated confidence, that gave tyler hope.

after the little moment jenna and tyler shared, tyler continued strolling to his next class. the problem is he never made it there. before he could get to his class, someone grabbed him by his waist into the bathroom. tyler struggled out of their hold, but didn't scream or anything. he knew better. although tyler was screaming on the inside. he was scared to death by the sudden action. his heart beat in his chest rapidly as the figure dragged him in the bathroom.

when they got in the, the figure rusted them into the largest stall. they quickly locked it, putting tyler down. tyler let out a small huff as he tried to make out the boy that stood before him. "josh?" he blinked as his head was still spinning from the mini panic attack he had a minute ago. "ty-ler." josh panted heavily from rushing the two in the stall.

"wh-what the hell? i'm gonna be late to class." tyler crossed his arms as he scoffed at josh while making a face of disbelief. josh just stayed silent, staring at tyler blankly. tyler shook his head before going to unlock the stall door. "t-tyler, stop. please just-" josh sighed, latching his fingers around tyler wrist, gently. "just talk to me." josh began to beg.

tyler swallowed the lump in his throat before clenching his jaw. "talk about what? ho-how you broke my heart and now you want to apologize!?" he spoke sharply making josh stumbled back. he knew tyler was angry. "i'm so-" tyler cut josh off letting out a disgusted scoff. "because josh, i don't think i'm ready to forgive you." josh inhaled slowly to then exhale the air sharply while frowning. "ty, please just let me tell you the truth!" josh held back his tears as he graced tylers arm with his hand. as much as the action comforted tyler he knew he couldn't give in, so he quickly flinched at josh's touch.

josh squeezed his eyes shut. tylers rejection and uncomfortableness shattered his heart even more. "i never loved her."

"wh-what?" tyler gulped as he was stunned.

"i- ever since i met you, it was never the same. yo-u were different. debby became jealous but i never thought anything about it because you made me so happy, tyler. you were the reason i got up every morning, the reason i felt my heart love for the first time. trust me tyler, i-i love you." josh let out a shaky breath, letting all his emotions spill out. tears rolled down his cheeks while tyler watched with trembling lips.

"she tried to make a deal with me. that i had to do what she wanted or she'd hurt you. i want you to know this is my fault, not yours." josh stated as tyler stepped forward slightly. tyler let out a muffled sob as he stumbled forward into josh's arms. he wrapped his arms around josh's neck, letting out chocked sobs into his shoulder. josh just let him, snaking his around around tylers waist. it felt nice for him to actually hold tyler again. but he didn't want to let go, it almost felt too sudden. the same was for tyler, he quickly returned to reality pulling himself from josh's embrace.

"i'm sorry." tyler mumbled. "no-don't." josh placed his hand on tylers face, wiping his tears. "i should go." tyler went to turn around until josh pulled him back. "stop." josh trailed his hand down tylers neck, pulling him forward as he leaned down and kissed him. tyler was taken aback before he melted in josh's touch. josh moved his lips gracefully, yet passionately against tylers. tyler fisted josh shirt pulling him closer as he pressed his lips harder on josh's. he then pulled away lingering his lips on his. josh breathed heavily as he stared into tylers eyes. there was something about the kiss that he wanted to last forever.

"jo-sh, i can't do this." tyler quivered his lip as tears began streaming down his face. "do what?" josh frowned worried about what tyler was talking about. "this. you, you making me weak and god. i can't take this anymore." tyler threaded his fingers in his hair, pulling it slightly. "tyler please.." josh tugged on tylers hoodie, trying to get him to listen. tyler gripped the back of josh's neck, as he pulled him in for another hug. josh felt uncomfortable hugging back, it felt like it was the last.

"don't- don't leave me, please." tyler pulled away as he let out a small shaky breath. josh gripped his arms tighter, not wanting to let go or else he'd fear he'd lose him. "goodbye josh." tyler inched away as he pried josh's hands off of him. "baby, p-lease.." josh's breath hitched. his fingertips skimmed tylers warm arms before he left. leaving josh defeated and weeping.
