*five months later*

finally graduation day. the dreadful senior year was over for the two boys who helplessly fell in love. they walked hand and hand, in their cap and gowns outside after the ceremony. everyone was already starting to take photos and gather outside to brag about their accomplishments.

the two boys parents stood in front of them with their cameras out and ready. "smile!" kelly pointed the camera towards tyler and josh as they posed playfully for the cameras.

a few photos and congratulations later, the two boys families gathered around and started chatting. josh had his arm around tylers hip, until he noticed his mother with a smirk on her face.

she was practically nudging him with her eyes, mostly because she knew the plan. josh didn't tell anyone what he was planning on graduation day, except his mother of course. she even helped him pick out the ring.

josh let go of tylers hip as he stepped back behind the small boy. he took one deep breath before getting down on one knee.

tyler watched as all his family members gasped with wide eyes. "w-what?" tyler slowly turned his body around to see josh on one knee with a ring in his fingers. the brunette quickly gasped in surprise, putting his hand over his mouth in awe. "tyler," josh cleared his throat. "will you marry me?"

the truth was, josh had been planning on proposing to tyler for a while now. he knew that no matter what, tyler was the one person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. he was his everything.

"o-oh my god." tyler stuttered, tears of joy rolling down his freshly tinged cheeks. "y-es, yes!" he stumbled forward into josh's arms, hugging him tight. josh slipped the ring onto his finger before placing a delicate, yet lustful kiss on his lips.

as they kissed, they heard the 'awes' of their parents and some other people who caught an eye of the situation. tyler smiled through the kiss at all the commotion, before josh pulled away. both boys grinned at each other with so much love.

and it was at that moment, tyler knew he was ready also. ready to spend the rest of his life with his best friend, the love of his life..
