Zero's POV
A soft sigh escaped my lips as I watch him from a distance, moving through the crowdy streets of Canterbury. He, the one everyone watched as 'high above' was the one who would bring me my master. A boy who'll awake around the age of sixteen years old with the color of his father and the shine of his mother. Heathen Taka Link, someone who was not even born yet, would find his place on the planet Earth within a couple of years. At least, so I have been told by the sun, my precious friend. He was the only one I knew, the only one listening to my words and caring about my existance. He was the one telling me how my life was going to be, since I did not belong here without a master. I did not in general for I was a protector with very low magic cells. I was not able, unlike all the other protectors, to keep my master safe if he would be in danger. Yes, I would be able to help him out, but not safe him 'cause after all, my magic was very weak. I had no right to be called a protector, everyone said so, yet the sun told me to have faith and to believe in my future master as well as in myself, something rather hard to do.
The future father of my master, a rather young male with dark hair and intimidating eyes, made his way through town as he was lost in his own thoughts, not paying attention to the activity around him. All on his own, no company, he enjoyed the simple walk across the bridge. Where the water ran on it's own speed, no person to control it, free on it's own way as it carries al the filth people gift. He hummed a soft lullaby, staring off into space as I watched his every move, closely and yet unseen. After all, I wouldn't be able to keep an eye on my future master that much anymore since I knew what was gonna happen soon, the sun told me. These blue skies, we would never get to see them again in the Wizard World, within the next couple of 15 years at least. The sun would die down, consumed by the darkness of the 'high' lord who rules us all for now adn the next generation. Him, the one known as the Black King, he would kill us all soon. Not many will survive his sudden attack full of slaughter and those who will, they'll disappear in their shells to never stand up again the fake man again. Our next generation of wizards and protectors will be destroyed, so I've been told. And although I couldn't know for sure, I knew those words were words of truth, the Black King was about to strike again soon enough and kill all those he will find by the end of the week. Warned or not, no difference would be made, for we would all suffer. Echo Link, the Wizard King, who just returned, shall not be able to stop this massive power, even if everyone believes he will. Deep within my heart and soul, I know. The only one who will be able to stop and destroy, defeat and wipe out the Black King and his whole network of evil, will be the cursed boy.
Born within the castle underground, within the Shaw network, he shall be born as the youngest of his family's generation. With the looks of his dark side and a heart of the light, he shall look nothing alike his family. His brother, my master, named Heathen Link shall be the one owning all the magic and all the power running through the family and he'll take his father place as soon as both of his parents get killed by the men of the Black King. He will raise and lead the Shaw network with his wife to be named Star Knight and their adopted child from the streets Aku while his younger brother, the cursed boy, shall be pushed aside by everyone in the Wizard World. He, the cursed boy, does not belong there, so they think. He will disappear within the night to return and save the whole kingdom from the Black King at the point where my future master, Heathen Link, failled. The cursed boy, he shall be the next Wizard King after Echo Link, and he'll be the legend known by everyone for all future generations coming after him from that day on. And secretly, I do not care if my master will feel guilty, sad or heartbroken by those happenings. After all, he hurt the young master Link, even if it was his brother, just because he was different from everybody else which we assumed as the 'usual'.
So, deeply within, I prayed for everything to turn out like that, just as the sun told me, as I watch the future father walk further into the city in the Human World. But, I knew, the future still had the ability to change, yet, if it would do so, I doubted. You see, the slaughter and killing was about to be put into action, no escaping that. And that action would repeat itself within a couple of years from now, so my future master and the cursed boy would still remain on their own, like who they are. Echo Link shall not defeat the enemy due the killings, neither will the suspected king Heathen, but the one everyone hated. Does that mean, nothing shall change? Well, I do not think so, not know I see the boy named Echo Link with my own eyes and study him from a distance. But I do not think, that any little changement that were about to happen in any further future, were to change the result at the end of the story.
