Monsta's POV
"Monsta, could you lend me a hand?" I turned my head as soon as I heard my name, looking in the direction of my master. "What do you need, my lord?" His long silver hair got carried on the back of the wind as he turned into my direction, smiling away all the concern with his kindness. "I'm expecting a dear and close person to visit us somewhere in the nearby future", he told me. "I, myself, can't go to pick them up though and I'm pretty sure he'll get lost if I allow him to go on his own. Would you mind to bring him over as soon as he arrives?" I nodded with a soft bow. "As you wish, my lord. If you don't mind me asking, who are we expecting?" A warmer smile came on his face as he started dreaming in his own world. "My son actually", he answered while his mind still wondered off. "Oh, well excuse my rudeness, sir. I didn't know you had a son." He waved it away, welcoming me to sit with him. "Have a seat, I'll tell you about him." "That's very kind of you, sir." With a soft bow I made my way towards the chair, sitting in front of my master who was having a seat on the couch.
"Well, where do I start...?", he hummed softly while he rubbed his skin. "Well, you know my wife Ceto passed away several centuries ago, right?" I nodded in a respectful way, after all, I knew how much my master suffered from her loss. "She died giving birth", he confessed. "She gave birth to a healthy baby boy and gave him the name Moon, since he looked a lot like me." He laughed softly, allowing me to smile as he continued. "He surely was one hell of a boy, I've got to be honest about that. He was so silent I grew worried at some points for nothing, always looking as if he missed something, playing with the curtains or drawing paintings on the wall. He was very nice to have around, surely at night, when he needed his stoy to fall asleep."
"I guess he was a handful?" My question got my lord to giggle softly while nodding. "He sure was, but that was just what I liked about him." The smile stayed on his face as he continued speaking, soon to turn into a frown. "But it didn't last long... One day we were invited by my sibling, the sun, and their child to come over. Of course, I gladly accepted and as we were on our way, we passed the main river, where we took a break. That's when hell got lose..." A little tear escaped his eye as he looked down, sadness softly washing over his face as he sighed for a little. "They took my son away when I looked away for just a second. They took him away from me, they stole him away! They... they...", he sniffed as he started to have a breakdown, not allowing me to come near him. "They didn't care that he was just a kid! They took him! They tried to execute him! The bastard wanted him dead!" His anger calmed down softly after screaming a bit, letting out his frustation, something I didn't mind. I could understand my master's irritation and I knew it wasn't against me, so I didn't take it to the heart.
"I am sorry for screaming", he said, feeling guilty as soon as he calmed down completly. "No, do not apologise, my lord. Please continue as you wish." He nodded, soon smilling softly again. "Right, well, that's the time I learned my son was a special child, a gifted one. To start, he didn't die as they tried to kill him. He didn't feel pain, didn't cry nor smiled. He just stared at them all with those sad eyes of his, as if he knew what was going on. And unlike any other kid, he just looked as if he was dissapointed." He wondered away with his minds as his eyes seemed to study the situation all over again, before he sighed softly. "Since they couldn't execute him, they erassed his memories and send him to the Human World in order for his existance to remain a secret until he died. But I knew, I knew all of it and I couldn't let that happen just like that. So, as soon as they send him to the Human World, I followed. I raised him in his new world, telling him everything that had been taken away from him and letting him grow up as his own person. It was at the age of seventeen he had his awakening call, making me see his true nature." Another smile creeped on his face before he continued. "My wife lives in his vains, he truly is our son. He has incredible power and is so special in so many ways. Just like I thought, he turned out to be immortal and carries my wife's powers. He's special, he'll always be. He didn't change much either actually, still the silent and mysterious boy who looks at the world with those wounded eyes as if he knows something isn't right. Always on his own, rather an individual, not smiling nor crying. Just a simple poker face, that's my son." He giggled softly and stood up softly with a : "I'll show you a picture."
When he returned, he sat back in front of me, handing me the picture of a seventeen year old teen. "That's him", he said full of pride. The teenager, a boy who was in reality centuries old, had the snow white hairs of his father and the golden eyes of his dear mother. The clothes he weared looked so black that it made his hair look even more white while a golden necklace hang around his neck. "He indeed looks a lot like you, my lord. I shall make sure I'll pick him up as soon as he arrives." My master, Man in the Moon, nodded with a soft whisper : "Don't forget his guests."
