Thomas' POV
"You're early", I smilled at Lili who just crossed paths with me on the way towards school. "Normally you take the train at 7:30 AM, you alright?" She nodded fast with a soft smile. "Yes, I woke up early since my mother called last night. I couldn't catch anymore sleep, that's all." "Alright, I'll believe you." I recalled her telling me her mother worked abroad and how she wasn't able to get in touch very often, so I assumed she was probebly happy she got to hear her voice again. "Well, next time let me know. Then I'll wait for you at the station if you want, with 2 is nicer than alone anyway, right?" She nodded with a smile, throwing me a little smirk. "How'd it go with Mr. Sky last night? Did he say something or did he lose his voice all of the sudden?" She couldn't hide her curiousity, making me shake my head. "No, he isn't a mute, that wasn't the case. Well, we spook a bit and I guess the felt better, although I don't really know if he's totally fine. Fine enough to get back home that is, so... Alright?" She nodded, taking a look at her watch to check the time as she gave a single nod towards our view in the front, the school gate.
"Why's he here already?", I noticed the fear in my own voice. Kenny saw us comming and gave a signal to his friends, meeting us halfway, making us stop from entering the school grounds. "What do you want, Young?", Lili told him in an annoyed tone, using his last name. "I didn't know girls could be this entertaining", he replied. "I just wanted to make a little talk with my buddy here, right pall?" He threw his arm around my arm, something I shook off directly only to make him laugh like the idiot he was. "What is it, Thomas? You scared of us?" He made a chicken noise, mocking me in all ways he could. "Am not!", I tried to protest but no words left my words due the fears I indeed had. "Leave him alone", Lili told him but it only made him go worse. "Or what, a girl will beat the hell out of me? I guess we'd have more fun with you than the other way around, little girl." His friends laughed, comming near her, trying to touch her. "I wouldn't do that if I were you", she answered, slapping their hands away. "I am much stronger than I look." Kenny nodded, waving her idea away right away before she could even come up with another sentence to say. "I'd like to see that happening, but I thought it was forbidden to hit girls. So how about we have a little scene at the back of the school instead?" His friends grabbed her arms while she tried to break free, no succes. It made me wanting to move but it was as if my body got stuck to the floor with glue, paralized. "What you gonna do now, huh? Not so tough as I thought." Laughter filled the thrilling air.
"Good morning, Kenny 'the Emperor' Young and co." A voice from behind him made him turn around only to be met with icy golden eyes. "Lovely day isn't it. Such a shame to disturbe it like the gray cloud you are. Rather let have it nature's way and let the suns shine alright?" He smilled at him with a glance, making the friends let go of Lili. "Now, if you'll excuse us", Moon continued. "Thomas and Lili wanted to show me my locker I was having." He looked towards us, took us by the wrist and took us away from the scene, towards the gate and the school grounds in complete silence. Leaving Kenny and his gang with open mouth, dumbfounded.
"Thank you for helping us", Lili broke the silence as we got closer to the lockers, he shrugged. "No need, I would be just as bad as I didn't act right then and there." "Still, thank you." He noddend gently, staring off, something I was used to by now. "If there's something we can do to repay you", I tried, "please don't hesitate to ask or find us, okay?" He nodded again with a soft 'yeah' slipping trough his lips. It made me think, if friends were really that easy to relay on, always there for you. But on the other hand it got me to realise, he's always been there for me but I have done no such thing for him, making me feel guilty. "Is there anything you need for example?" He looked in my direction and shook his head. "I'm fine." I looked down, really wanting to do something in return for the already second time he saved me. "But", he continued, waking me out of my thoughts. "I could use a hand. I need to go pick up a gift my father left me the other day, but I need to go home directly after school. Could you pick it up maybe? I don't ask you to travel all the way to my house to give it to me, you could just bring it to school, but it would help me a lot if you were able to pick it up." I nodded excited. "Not a problem, right Lili?" She smilled. "Of course not, where do we need to be?" "All the way to Castle Combe." Both Lili and I looked at each other, that was a long way to go. "We could use the train to get there, is it nearby the station?" He nodded. "Father left it at the station actually, just need to ask it at the ticket window." "And what do we need to ask for?" "A bag that got lost with the name 'Jacy Knight' inside." I nodded, recalling Jacy was male name meaning moon. "Alright, we'll pick it up for you, no problem", Lili said with a smile. "We'll bring it with us tomorrow to school, alright?" He nodded, muttering a soft 'thank you'.
