Luka's POV
The room was dark, dimmed lights as they would bring pain to my head. A male soldier, who I learned was called Sore Zen, once in a while came by, checking up on me as someone I never saw before stayed by my side, in the chair next to the bed they put me in. I didn't know where I was nor who these people were and actually I didn't want to know either, they gave me a bad feeling although they took care of me. "The painkillers should be wearing off soon. Want me to get some others?", the dark voice of the person in the chair welcomed me after a long period of silence. I shook my head in kind and polite replay. "I'd like to wait if that's alright." He nodded and smiled softly, giving me kinda the creeps in some way. "If that's what you wish for, Luka, we'll wait. Just do not force yourself, alright? It won't help you in anyway." His eyes watched me closely. "How do you know my name?" "I was told so by the person who brought you in. I'm surprised you don't know me though." I looked down, bit ashamed that I didn't. "I'm sorry, I don't", I replied but he simply shook his head. "No need to apologise, Luka. I couldn't know you didn't know, right?" I nodded softly, staring at my hands as I leaned in the pillow. "My name is Latorius Young, but I'm more known as the Black King. It's nice meeting you." I smiled softly, introducing myself as well. "I am Luka Horizon, nice meeting you to." "Horizon?", he asked. "That's not a very known nor common name. Are you from the south maybe?" I nodded my head softly. "Yes, I am. I'm from the Medieval Village. My family is not very rich nor known, so it's not a surprise you know me if you aren't from the vilage." "So, you're poor, am I correct?" I nodded my head, ashamed I had to admit it. "Yes, I am." He smiled at me, sending strange chills down my spine. "Well, that explains your condition. I can't imagine someone as sick as you not going to search for a good medical wizard, but know I understand. If you wouldn't mind, I'd love to give you help, although I'm not a medical wizard myself." I looked into his eyes. "What kind of wizard are you in that case?" He stood up to sit on the bed by my side, looking me, face to face. "I am a nature wizard, I control fire. But I'm more curious about you. What kind of wizard are you, Luka?" Something, maybe a tone, in his voice told me something was off but I could not be suddenly impolite, so I replied. "A mind wizard, sir." "A mind wizard? Please tell me how that works, I can not really understand." I nodded before I spoke.
"A mind wizard is a wizard with the ability of controling the imaginary or thinking waves of the brain of either humans and wizards. We've got 2 category's : the imagine wizard and the thinking wizard. The imagine wizard are those who use the fantasy, dreams, believes and hopes within someone's mind to either use that as the source of their power or to control it. The thinking wizard uses the memory, the knowledge, the language and the learning parts of the brain as their source or power. A mind wizards influence on the person used is zero and no damage shall be done unless a parasite uses the vital functions of the brain, that can leave some damage. A parasite is a wizard who needs others to survive, they can't chose that, they were born that way. So good-hearted ones shall never use the vital functions, but the functions such as fantasy or memory." He nodded, interested by the words I just told him. "So", he said. "What kind of wizard are you? An imagine wizard or a thinking wizard? And are you a parasite?" His questions got me to think, as if he wanted to get to know me better, although I didn't know who he was nor why they called him the Black King. On top of that, I was taken away against my own free will from my home back at the Medieval Village, only to wake up in a bed somewhere away from the south of the kingdom by guys I didn't know. It seemed so strange, too suspicious and I didn't like it one bit. "I am no such thing as a parasite", I told him proud of my being. "And wheter I am an imagine wizard or thinking wizard remains a secret. I am a mind wizard and that's all you have to know." He laughed softly, ruffling my hair. "I like you, kid", he said smiling. "Do not worry and get some rest alright? I'll make sure to find a great medical wizard in order to get you cured." As he said so, he stood up, ready to leave the room, but I held his wrist. "Something you need, Luka?" "I'd like to get to know you as well", I told, making him sat down again. "I shared my wizard identity after you did. But I'd like to know more about you as well." He nodded in understanding and thought for a second. "Then what do you want to know?" I looked him in the eyes. "Tell me why I was taken from my home. How come I ended up here in a place away from the whole south part of the kingdom by stranges who take care of me? Just what do you want from me? And why'd the kingdom given you the name the Black King? I do not believe you didn't know who I was before you introduced yourself." He smirked, laughing kinda evil-like as he stood, making his way to the door. But before he went he turned around and said the words I feared were true before leaving me all on my own. "I indeed know who you are. You cannot escape from me for I am your master from now on. You shall obey me and if not, I'll kill those precious family members of you left living!"
