Izanami's POV
"He has arrived, your highness", my guard Systema, a young lady with long black hair. Her red dress moved with her every mouvements as she kneeled before me. "I see." With a nod I allowed her to stand back on her feet. "What's his current situation?" Her head looked down, following the rule to never look the royal family in the eye. "Unstable", she replied. "What's the cause?" Her eyes stared to the ground as if she didn't want to say the reality. "Suicide, my lady." A soft sigh escaped my lips, I knew this day was about to come sometime. "You are dismissed, Systema. Please send Latorius and Holly in, I wish to discuss the matter." "Very well, my queen." With a soft bow she left me alone in the throne room, letting me sit on the throne of black and bitterness. "Excuse me for what I'm about to do, my dear son, but I've got no other choise."
"Your highness, you wished to see me?" I nodded as soon as the Black King Latorius and his precious servent Holly walked in. "Yes, please have a seat, be my guests." With a bow, both sat down in front of me on the chairs I had placed. "What can we do for you, our majesty?" "What I'm about to say has to remain a secret between the three of us, all those saying anyone further will pay the price. Am I clear?" Both nodded softly, so I started speaking softly with a feeling of being unsure, yet left with no other option. "I think you may already know, he died 'cause of suicide and recently arrived at my Kingdom of Yomi, kingdom of the dead." A smile creeped across the Black King's face as he giggled in pure happiness, something that tore me apart. "That's great news, my queen. So we have no worries anymore, I assume?" I shook my head, trying to hide my pure anger and hatred for the man in front of me. "He is locked up, but once he's released from the mirror, he will be awoken as the man you fear." He chuckled. "You probebly mean teenager, no man, your highness. And I'm sure, he won't be released. If he does and if I find the person responsible, they won't live to see tomorrow." A dark aura danced around him as he stood up. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have to celebrate this good news at my kingdom. My servent, Holly, will stay here to discuss any further with you." He bowed and left in all rudeness, leaving no place for objection.
I ran up to Holly, who soon hugged me as tears purred down my face. I wasn't allowed to show others my emotions, but Holly was different. She was my sister, the only one who I showed my tears as I felt sad. She rubbed my back softly, knowing I had a rough time with the loss of my son and with the comments the Black King gave as I told him. "What happend?", Holly asked as I sobbed softly, sitting down beside her on the floor. "He just couldn't take it", I whispered while crying. "He didn't want to live, he died by his own actions. He died right there on the cold floor and nobody was there to stop nor to save him. Nobody knew of his depressed state and even now as we speak, there's still nobody who noticed." More tears came down as she hugged me tight, making circles with her hands on my back in comfort. "I thought he couldn't die", she whispered what got me to nod. "He can't, death itself is running within his blood. But he's still mortal, he never released his power." Again I sobbed. "He never knew his real state before he died, he thought he was worthless." More tears escaped my eyes and I hugged my sister closer, trying to calm my breath with no success. "Holly, you should've seen him. Such a pure and innocent child he was. I cannot understand why nobody was there for him when he was in need and even now... Now he's no more, now they'll cry for the loss they made. But most of all, now he's dead, they will search for him, try to kill him once again. I can't allow them to do that." She nodded with a soft : "What are you gonna do about it?" "I had contact with the Magical Knights who were send on a mission by the Black Knight. I told them where to find their target... But of course... You know they are on our side, right?" She nodded before I continued. "Somehow I knew this was gonna happen, that my son would be no more. So I told them to find the son of Man in the Moon instead, that boy has the power to unleash my son." Holly nodded again in silence before she spook up. "Man in the Moon's child, wasn't that the immortal kid who survived the execution?" I smiled as an answer, although it was a fake one. "Yes, he was. I heard he's still alive nowadays, so..." Holly continued rubbing my back, it seemed to calm me down, I was greatful to have her as a sister. "I send my daughter, Lili, as well to the Human World to find him. Mostly because you told me about your child." I nodded and continued to listen. "She found him, his name is Moon Knight. According to her, he's very powerful and he would form our last hope. Although, he's in a weak state right now, but he should be in perfect shape starting tomorrow." "In that case, I'll let the Magical Knights know where to find Moon Knight so they can knock on his door tomorrow morning. He's our last hope after all to find Echo Link." Holly smilled and nodded. "I am sure we'll find our way through this, sister", she whispered. "After all, Latorius may have the power but if we continue our undercover mission to the end, he'll soon notice that the power lies in someone else's hands."
