Chapter 11 - That Happened.

Vanoss's POV

I watched, in shock and horror, as Y/n's blood drenched the already blood red carpet, her eyes fluttering closed. Delirious and Tyler rushed over to try and help her, but the blood running down her neck kept going. Mini sat in the corner, shivering and frozen in shock, breathing heavily and the demon infront of me just laughed.

"You're foolish attempts to help her won't work, I'm afraid she's a gone---" A glowing light drowned her out, and an overwhelming pain erupted all over my body, and I heard screams. I cried out in pain as I was lifted into the air, and the light became blinding. I writhed in the airy grasp of the magic around me, and struggled with all my might.

The screams died down as did the pain, but the light remained for a longer period of time until it, too, dissapeared. I was now in a rose gold room, and somebody stood in the middle, their back facing away from me. I caught a glimpse of white and black before it dissolved into small particles, soon being little to nothing. I watched as a black and white person evaporated infront of me.

I felt my heart slow dangerously as a feminine voice boomed through the dense air. "My child! Come forth, O' chosen one!" It spoke softly, and slowly. I unconsciously took a few steps forward, dazed. "You are the chosen one, as is the girl. You must both defeat me!" It boomed. Now I was utterly confused, yet still with only air in my brain.

"Now go." It commanded, and the bright light swirled around me. I felt the pain again, but it wasn't as painful as before. If anything, it was as if I had gotten stronger. Adrenaline surged through my heart as if it picked up its pace and threw it across the room. )Idek)

I now stood in the room where Y/n was still leaned against the wall, only time had halted since I had left. Soon, it sped up to its regular pace, and the lady finished her speaking. "--ner." She smirked. I took time to register what she had said before, and once I had, my blood boiled. I itched to just claw her maroon eyes out, slowly and painfully.

I felt my eye twitch, and she looked at me, and stepped back, shocked. I wonder why? I shrugged and walked over to her, feeling lighter on my feet. I pounced toward her, but she dodged and I barreled through the wall. She gasped as I stood up, only grinning. Her eyes glowed a purple and blue blur as I sprinted toward her, feeling something in my hands. A new energy, I hadn't ever felt before.

I yelled out as I leaped over her, swing my arms down and releasing a ball of fire. She shrieked as the fire enveloped her, and she struggled to put herself out. I looked down at my hands, in shock and surprise. I want aware of the power I now had. I raised my hands, and they shot a blast of deathly fire at her, and she was pushed through the wall, and into two rooms beside ours. I stepped through the human shaped hole and continued to fire magical fire at her, and once her screams died down to nothing, I stopped. I was now facing a pile of ashes.

"V-Vanoss?" A scared voice whimpered from behind me. I twirled around, seeing a shaking Mini. He was almost in tears. "What a-are you?" He gasped, stumbling back. I raised an eyebrow. "It doesn't matter. The princess does." I muttered, rushing passed him. The adrenaline vanished suddenly, and I slowed. The powerful aura I felt inside myself died down, and I felt normal once more. What... was that?

I felt my eyes widen. I had almost forgotten about the princess! I rushed to Delirious and Wildcat, kneeling beside them. I saw Y/n, beaten and bruised. Her once beautiful f/c dress was now soaked in her blood and tears, and her h/c hair was loosely hanging over her shoulders, covered in dust. She usually had it well-kept. What shocked me the most was the fact that she stared at me, with empty eyes. Her once shimmering e/c eyes had lost their spark. Her lips curled into a gentle smile, and tears glossed my eyes.

"Y/n..." I sighed. I picked her up as Tyler went over to Mini to take us home. Delirious said nothing, only stared at the pile of ashes that once was that lady I hadn't gotten the name of. I ran out to the stairs, climbing them to find the exit. I left everyone else in the dust, but I didn't care. A numb pain in my arm and head rang out, but I ignored it. All that mattered to me was that my Y/n was safe and sound.

I found a large door, smashing my already pained shoulder into it to open it. It swung open as I ran outside into the grassy field. I heard footsteps behind me, but I continued to run. I felt my lungs burn, but I didn't slow. I felt like I knew the exact way to the castle, letting my strained legs guide me the way. I arrived on the same gravel pathway that Y/n was kidnapped, but I still didn't slow. I pushed myself over the limits, feeling the hamstrings in my legs feel torn.

I shoved my way through the rusted metal gates, barged through the door and slowed as I made it to the throne room panting and feeling light headed. My lungs burned and sweat caused my hair to stick to my forehead, and I held onto consciousness. I cradled the silent and pained girl in my arms, seeing the king stare down at us in complete shock.

"I.. Found her." I forced a grin, soon feeling my vision fade as I fell to the ground, dropping her beside me.

Seems Vanoss has harnessed an unfound power to heat up girls. Great.
