... how?
Y/n's POV

I watched as Vanoss choked up a sickly red liquid, as his eyes widened. I choked down a scream as he slumped down to the ground as Dark dropped the hilt of his sword. He turned to me, no trace of sanity in his dark eyes. I felt something trigger inside of me as time slowed, stopping him from any movement. I stared at the frozen scene before me, before feeling a painful, suffocating rush overcome me. I was pulled into the darkness, but only for a moment as I was soon transfered to a light f/c room.

I saw a figure standing in the middle of the room, staring at a wall with strange markings. I didn't bother with asking who they were, but I did ask a different question. "What am I doing here?" I inquired, confused and anxious to get back to the almost ended fight going on.

"You will find out later, but for now, a power inside you has awakened. You and that boy... are the chosen ones." A strong voice echoed. I nodded carefully, all of my confusion soon melted away. "One more thing.... uh, what power?" I raised an eyebrow. She seemed to silently chuckle, her shoulders moving lightly.

"My child, you will find out. Defeat me first, and everything will be known." And with those words, the rushing feeling yet again overcame my body, yet it was more soothing, calming. My thoughts slowed and focused on my main objective; SAVE EVAN.

I was back in the real world, where things took place in real time. I shook my head, looking around to see Dark inches away from my throat. Upon reflex, I ducked out of the way and kicked his feet out from under him, causing him to topple to the ground.

I snarled as I grasped his throat and pinned him down, but not before realising that none of the damage I attempted to inflict on him worked. It made him stronger, so that was a bust. I grunted as I threw him into the forest with much struggle, but I managed. I rushed over to Evan, trying to remember the medical procedure to take in this place. I couldn't think of anything with the panicked thoughts rushing through my head.

I breathed deeply, calming myself as I grasped the sword and pulled it out carefully. Evans breath hitched, but he was still out cold. I suddenly felt like I knew something more.... helpful, to accomplish healing him.

I concentrated in pulling my life force to my hands and pressing it out into the air, a wave of calm rushing over the situation. I drew the life from the healthy, damp grass and greenery around me as I created a liquid and watched it wrap around my hands. I didn't think for a second as I pressed it against his wound, knowing it would work. I don't know how, because logic, but his wounds slowly healed as his flesh and bone matter (ew) carefully sealed the wound up as if it never existed. I felt tired, but not out of breath as I stood up to block Dark's attack from the darkness. "You'll never save him in time~" He grinned. "I... already did." I smiled, shoving him off me and kicking him to the ground.

"Really? He seems a little... dead, there." He mused, kicking at Evans arm. In response, I kicked Dark in the chin and watched as he toppled back, grabbing his jaw. "Painful, I'll admit--" an awful popping sound was made as he pushed his jaw back into place. "--But it isn't that bad." He smirked at my grossed out face.

I thought for a moment on how I could possibly defeat him. If he gets stronger with damage, then maybe heel get weaker with... healing? Heh, it's worth a try.

I concentrated hard, pushing almost all of my life force into my arms. Dragging it out of the bottom of my heart, I managed to form enough energy in my hands to draw the life from the nutrients of the plant life around me. With my watery gloves, I formed a cup-like shape with my hands and somehow shot out a load of healing water at Dark, seeing his eyes widen. "What-- this... how?!" He panicked, as he began to steam up. As if he were melting into the shadows, he began to fall apart. Soon, all was left to be a puddle of black goop, in which I blasted to smithereens with my newfound healing power.

"Evan?" I turned to him, slightly panting. I didn't bother with checking his heartbeat, or pulse! I panicked, rushing over and feeling his chest. Luckily, a faint beating was there. I sighed, yet again using my power to try and help him. Since I wasn't used to resuscitation, I just tried my healing power.

I drew all of my life force out in an attempt to revive Evan, to my success. He coughed and spluttered as I felt lightheaded, but happy that he was okay. "What.... happened...?" He panted, looking at me. I grinned tiredly, soon just collapsing on his chest. The warmth of his body soothed my panic, as did his heartbeat. "...Y/n?" He laughed nervously.

"I'm glad you're alright, Evy." I muttered quietly. "I... we can talk about that later, rest for a while. You probably deserve it, I don't know. I wasn't awake for that part!" He joked, laughing and shopping me up as we began our tired journey back to the castle.

In his arms~

I... yes.
The funny thing is, I originally planned for a totally different storyline, and changed it midway through. Oh well! This one's much more fun, and a little longer. :/
Lucky for you guys, I guess. Unless you want this story to end lol
