NO NOT THE DRUG
Y/N's POV
I groaned, sitting up and rubbing my head. Even when a large, cushiony layer broke my fall, I must've landed on my head harshly.
I looked around, seeing many cool colours. Purples, blues, greens, all in dark shades. Little fireflies flew by my head calmly, a buzzing noise drifting through my head as they passed. Looking under me, I saw a spotted surface, coloured red and a pale cream colour. It appeared to be an enormous mushroom. I breathed in calmly, looking around desperately to find my friends.
I saw Mini curled up in a ball, having wedged himself in a corner. I sighed, rolling off my soft mushroom and jogging over to him. "Mini?" I softly spoke, not wanting to scare him any further. "Y/n! Oh my God I'm so sorry for getting you trapped down here, princess! I-I..." I smiled kindly, causing him to stop rambling. "I'm fine. I just want to find everyone else. Could you help me?" I requested, and he obliged. He stood up, readjusting his glasses and beginning to look around.
~~~~~~
Having found Delirious on top of Wildcat, on top of a mushroom, now we needed to find Evan.
"Hey, Evy!?" I called out, earning no response. I jumped onto a high mushroom, then perched myself onto the next. I spotted him, but in an oddly-shaped, darkened corner. I shrugged it off and sprinted over, seeing him stir from his unconsciousness. As I slowed down, I saw the large, white spikes around him move and clamp shut. I gasped, seeing three golden eyes peer at me from the dark. I began to growl, feeling a power flood up my arms and into my hands. I, in a flash, shot a mass amount of water at the large being, and as the light shot off the shimmering water, I noticed that it seemed to be a mutant, yet kind tiger. It spluttered and spat Evan out, and leapt away.
"Evy!" I cried, running over to him. He coughed, shaking his head as he sat up, heavily breathing. I felt my legs collapse as I skid across the dampened floor and, finally, I stopped infront of Evan. He chuckled, standing up and helping me up in the process. "You okay, princess?" He grinned, as I snorted. "Only my closest friends may wish to refer to me as a princess." I joked, folding my arms. "Aren't I a close friend?" He made puppy dog eyes, pouting his lip. I sighed, eyes twitching at his sudden cuteness.
"B-but you're more than a close friend." I huffed, looking away. As Vanoss was about to say something, Mini sprinted over. He had his eyebrows furrowed and was checking my arms and hands. "How...?" Delirious gawked from afar, while Wildcat struggled to contain his awe.
"Nevermind, we need to find a way out of here." I glanced over the colourful, yet dark area around us. They nodded, and we all split up and began to search for an exit. I spied a smaller crevice under a purple and blue mushroom, yet I could most likely fit everyone inside if they crawled. "Hey!" I called out, waving my arms. "Over here!" I jumped around, as everyone turned to me and began to sprint over.
"That... small space? Yeah, you'd be able to fit, but what about us?" Tyler asked, gesturing to the taller guys. "We all know how to crawl, right?" I arched an eyebrow and bent down to try and fit inside. I crawled through the tight entrance and found a wider tunnel, beginning to stand up. I heard a rustle of fabric behind me, as everyone else followed behind.
"Where are we again?" Delirious asked. I shrugged. "Nobody knows, unless someone's not telling us." I rolled my eyes. "We know." A husky, tired sounding voice grumbled form the darkness infront of me.
"WHAT THE--" I stumbled back into Evan arms. "Who...?" I pointed into the dark void infront of us, and to receive an answer. "If you seek an audience with the Queen, you'll be sorry to hear that mere mortals aren't allowed past these gates." The voice explained, as an ogre-like being stumbled out of the darkness. It was more than three times the size of Tyler, as he bent down to fit. "We... uh... I am not a mere mortal!..?" I felt confused, but cheered anyway.
"Oh? Prove it." He growled. I thought for a moment, before turning to Evan. "You know how to control your fire power yet?" I asked. "...No." He sighed. I shrugged, turning back to the ogre. "Okay!" I clapped, focusing on the energy and nutrients around me. I grasped a load of water and felt it be absorbed into my hands, as I aimed at the ogre and fired. A large blast of water was shot into the ogres face, as he stumbled back and fell over. "Huh..." He shrugged.
"A water elemental, at last." He smiled, standing up. I gasped as he pointed out a stick and hooked me with it, pulling me closer. "The Queen has been looking for you." He grunted. Nobody said a word as he dragged me into the dark, as my friends followed awkwardly behind us.
