Y/n's POV

I heard an unsettling crack as Luke dragged himself up, bending the bones in his fingers until a sickening snap was heard. He grimaced as blood trickled down his face and into his eyes, as well as into his mouth. "God, that was refreshing!" He smiled. I felt my eyes widen. Then again, I didn't try to beat him. If anything, I had let him go.

I pursed my lips as I curled my h/l h/c behind my ear and pushed Evan out of the way. I threw Shurikens at him, however much he dodged. I growled as he edged closer, grinning evilly. "Kawako, you're always so much fun to play with~" He cupped my face in his rough hands. Vanoss snarled, kicking him off me and sending him flying across the drenched meadow.

I calmly grasped the handle of my battle axe, believing I had a chance. I was wrong.

He ran at me right as I swung heavily, however, he ducked under the blade and kicked my feet out from under me as I fell. He seemed to have recovered quickly. He stumbled as I hoisted myself up, kicking him in the jaw. He then kicked my battle axe out of my hand and caught it, using it to his advantage as he swung at my shoulder. I screeched in pain as it settled there, blood trailing down my arm like a waterfall.

Furious, Evan rushed over and knocked Luke off his feet, sending him flying into the castle wall. Vanoss sprinted after him, as I felt his aura grown more intense and strong. A new fiery passion had entered the building, and I feared I was running out of time.

Panting, I hauled myself up as Brock rushed over to wrap a bandage around the wound. I waved him off, eyebrows furrowed as I pulled out my Shurikens and took aim. Evan noticed this and moved out of the way in time for a Shuriken to dig itself in the middle of Luke's forehead. Blood spilled out, but he wasn't fazed as he lifted himself from the wall. In a matter of seconds, he had appeared infront of me, catching me in a choke hold.

I gagged as he lifted me off my feet and unsheathed a seventh knife, jabbing me in the stomach repeatedly. I felt the unfamiliar metallic taste drip down my cheek, my sight going red. I couldn't breathe to scream, as much as I tried. I felt a heated presence to my right, and sure enough, Evan was in his God state. Cupping a large mass of fire, he began to throw balls of the heated substance at Luke in a blind rage. I began to sweat.

Brock tore me out of Luke's grasp and tried to stop the rapid rush of the blood that began staining my clothes. Panicked, he ripped a piece of fabric off his sleeve and attempted to soak the blood, to no avail as it kept pooling around me. I chuckled painfully, as I stood up. Brock knew well he couldn't do anything to save me, so he took a step back. Coughing up blood, I concentrated on the energy around me and felt the familiar watery feeling in my hands once more. I cupped it around my wound, and as it stung, the wound began to close.

Sadly, it took down a lot of my stamina and I struggled to stand. The air elemental gasped in relief as I smiled at him, wiping away the blood from my face.

I began to pay attention to the battle, as I saw Luke was about to play dirty. He hid a knife in his long sleeve and grinned, confusing Evan and throwing him off guard as Luke rushed toward him, about to plunge the knife into his chest. I was struck with panic and distraught as time seemed to slow. My thoughts clouded my brain, chaos and worry being the only categories I could fit them in.

I sprinted over with all my might, as my lungs burned from fatigue. My eyes stung as I smiled half heartedly at Evan, as his eyebrows raised in confusion. He didn't see the knife. He didn't notice what was going on. This might've been the last time I could smile at him, and he didn't understand or comprehend what was happening. I shoved him out of the way, just in time, with my shoulder as I felt the blade plunge deep into my chest. Luke's eyes widened, as did Evans as I stumbled and everything began to come back into motion, into real time.

I coughed up more blood, feeling faint as I fell, feeling Evans warm embrace. I saw my friends swarm Luke, as he struggled under Mini and Brock's grasp. Delirious and Wildcat began to slowly give him his demise.

I felt tears well up in my eyes, seeing Evan in such despair. He was lost, as salty tears trailed down his cheeks. I caressed his cheeks softly, shaking as I struggled to breathe once again. He grasped my hand gently, sobbing quietly. "Don't... don't leave me here, please..." He cried. I felt the tears flow down my face as I lightly kissed his forehead. "I-I can't help it, Evy." I muttered. He sobbed harder. "I... I-I love you." I smiled wholeheartedly as I pulled him in for a kiss, most likely our last.

I pulled away as he hugged me tightly. "P-Princess..." I felt his shoulders shake as he drew in a sharp breath. "You... you left out the puff pastry. And the sprinkles the third..." I joked, lightly chuckling with a pained expression gracing my face. He strained a smile. "O-Of course, P... P-princess Puff Pastry with S-sprinkles and Icing the T-third, just... I-I love you, forever." He grinned sheepishly.

"I love you too, forever and always." I sighed. I winced as a sharp pain hit me in the chest, as I felt my lifeforce drain. "I... I couldn't even help you guys." I frowned. Evan shook his head. "You did everything, Princess. Absolutely everything, perfectly. You made me smile." He faked a smile. Continuing to frown, I stared into his dark, dreamy eyes, my own e/c orbs blurred in tears. He brushed a strand of h/c hair out of my face. I thought for a moment, before grasping the hilt of my dagger and putting it in his shaking hands. "This... its yours." I smiled. "I... I know." He breathed. "And y-you... don't try to follow me, O-okay?" I raised my hand to his face, wiping away tears.

"I... O-okay. We'll miss you." He grasped my hand again. I nodded. "I hope so, Evy." I smiled. And then, the world faded, replaced with a blank slate.

"I love you, my prince."

Shoot
My eyes hurt. No, I'm not crying. And... yeah, this is a weak ending lol
