Eggplant. Sorry, this is just to cheer myself up. Eggplant kicks my giggledick. Everytime I hear 'EGGPLANT' I literally die laughing. I'm actually trying not to die right now. But, have rfun
Y/n's POVI stood in the throne room, my fathers dark eyes peering down at me menacingly. "What're you here for, my child?" He calmly asked, combing his fingers through his beard. I frowned, figuring that this talk would be hard.
"Yeah.... Father, about the wedding..." I sighed. His eyes narrowed at me. Evan was glaring intensity at my father from the corner of the room, Tyler and Mini standing beside him. Tyler had his hand rested on the hilt of his sword, and Mini was fumbling with a map of sorts. Evan seemed.... off.
"What about it? That it's happening in less than two weeks, I know." He grinned. I shook my head. "Father, I wish to call it off." I stated, earning a growl from him. "I know this is against your own request, but I'd rather live a happy life with the one I actually share an infatuation with, rather than some stupid prince I haven't even met yet." I went on.
"However, I say we do not need to move up in the ranking, as we are already perfectly fine a we are. There is no point in giving our nation to another kingdom when we are already happy as we are." I finished, glaring. It may sound cliche, but I think he deserves to know.
".... Child, as I do think those reasons are excellent, I cannot call it off. The only way that would happen is if you went missing or died, or if the prince had vanished." He replied. I came up with an idea, and didn't know if it was a good one, but I knew I could try. "Well, how about if someone protested against our marriage?" I grinned. My father sighed.
"That wouldn't happen. Nobody wishes to go against a kings wishes." He furrowed his eyebrows, not seeing the aggravated Evan in the corner, only held back by his friends. I set a pained smile his way, trying to get him to stop.
"I can try my best efforts, but only because I wish to prove that I love you. I shall try and call off the wedding. However, if I cannot accomplish that, there is nothing I can do." My father smiled apologetically at me. My eyes widened at his words. "Father.... Thank you so much." I smiled, running up to hug him.
~~~~~~~~
"I can't believe he actually did that." I breathed. It was rather shocking, my father trying to prove his love to me. Maybe he's Lying?
"Yeah, but be happy." Mini smiled. I nodded. I was sitting outside with Mini, as Tyler and Vanoss were talking in my room. I have no clue why, on the other hand. "Take it for granted. Not something you or I get everyday." He grinned. I smiled in return. "Uh, Mini, what're Tyler and Vanoss talking about?" I inquired. He just shrugged.
"Not sure, maybe about... important things?"
Vanoss's POV
"What do you mean?!" I yelped, blushing. "I'm just saying, if she ends up meeting the prince, you might not have a chance." Tyler shrugged, sitting on the bed. I ran my fingers through my raven-black hair and sighed. "She's not gonna meet him, their wedding was called off." I replied, shaking my head.
"Dude, he said that he will try--" I cut Tyler off. "I know what you said, I just don't--...." I trailed off. I almost started yelling at him. Usually I don't lose my composure so easily. I grumbled, walking out the door. I went to the yard, where Mini and Y/n were sitting, laughing and joking around. Something came over me, and suddenly I felt like I had to do something.
"Hey, Mini." I muttered, sitting beside MY Y/n. I wrapped my arm around her shoulder, while Mini looked at me as if I had melted infront of him. "H-hey, Vanoss... Uh, I need to g-go find Tyler. B-Bye, Y/n!" He stammered, laughing awkwardly and darting for Tyler. I growled silently, hugging Y/n tightly in my arms.
She frowned, then started giggling and trying to wriggle out of my grip. I let her go, as she stood up and brushed herself off. "What was that, Evy?" She grinned. I grimaced at the use of that nickname.
"It's... nothing. I don't know what you're talking about." I muttered, folding my arms. She stopped giggling. "Is something wrong? Did I do something?!" She slowly, but surely began to freak out. I rolled my eyes and pulled her into my arms. She sighed, comforted, and hugged me back. "Sorry, just... stressed. I'll be fine." I smiled.
"Alright. I believe you. Anyway, have any more missions for Midnight?" She laughed. I chucked back. "Sure, gimme a sec." I pulled out my book and flipped through, seeing a mission for myself. However, I could let her tag along. "I have one right here, you think you'll be up for it?" I asked, earning an excited nod.
This'll be fun...
I lost all inspiration. AAAAAAH Apologies for the short chapter, friends. Um... reminder, I can't... do... Oc's. I have my reasons, please understand. I can in another book, but right now, I'm kinda afraid I'll forget them. And if you say, write it down, or something along those lines, it won't work. My mind doesn't work like that.
Anyways, hope you enjoyed.
