Vanoss PROV

I cursed under my breath, hearing the screams in the forest. I thought she'd get scared once she got a few feet inside, so I left her. I didn't suspect she'd run into something so quickly. I sprinted inside, following the screams. I almost tripped, but my life was on the line. Well, hers. I stumbled within a few feet of a time hole, or so it seemed. It dissapeared after I ran around it. I spotted her witchery ingredients spilled across the damp, wet grass and sighed.

"Fucking hell, Y/n." I seethed, gathering them up and trotting back to the castle. Hopefully I wouldn't be beheaded for the princess's foolishness. I growled, the gates slowly opening and causing impatience to overcome me. I charged inside, sprinting straight to her room. I dumped the stuff she dropped inside and ran into the throne room, where the king was sitting boredly.

"Aren't you supposed to be looking after my daughter right now?" He raised an eyebrow, fiddling with a loose thread on his kingly robes. "She was kidnapped!" I snarled, earning a gasp from the king. "What do you mean, kidnapped?! I paid good money for someone to protect her, and yet she is still endangered! You...." He stared down at me, and I just frowned.

"I don't care what you do, I am looking for her with or without your help." I muttered, storming out and into the library. The librarian furrowed her eyebrows at my entrance, but ignored it and went on with reading tiredly. I ran straight to the geographical section and pawed through, finding a map of the region. I then went to the magics section and took a book of magic. I read through them, and ignored my boredom for reading, all for a lonesome girl.

I found a map and looked for any possible places to store a poor girl. I found three possible places; a barnyard across town, a large abandoned war zone and a little cottage on the border of the town. This was all inside town boundaries, and I found out that the warp holes are limited to a certain space, and take a lot of energy to conduct.

I leapt out the window, taking the books without the librarian noticing and began sprinting down to my friends cottage. They'd help, even though they'd annoy me about it later. "Guys!" I broke the door down, panting. "The door!" Mini wailed, and ran over. "You hardly ever are this worried, what happened?" Tyler yawned, trotting downstairs. My hood rested on my back, showing my brown eyes. I honestly didn't care, this was a matter of someone's life.

"The girl... kidnapped." I huffed tiredly, close to tumbling over. "Who's what now?" Nogla and Lui ran over. After a brief explanation to everyone, they agreed to try to help. Not everyone was coming with me on the expedition around town, but they would keep a look out for anything strange. "So how longs the trip going to be?" Jonathon arched an eyebrow in my direction.

"Who knows? Around a week, probably." I shrugged, filling my bag with food and water. A few coins in case of a true emergency were stuffed into a pocket in the side of my assassin robes. I sighed and went outside, where Wildcat and Mini were waiting. Delirious ran out after me, panting and hauling a large sack of his back. "You think you can carry that through the whole town?" I smirked, earning a snarl. "I'm a big boy!" He yelled, running off.

"I recommend heading to the cottage first, it's closest and most secluded, two reasons they'd hide her there." Mini held up the map. "If she isn't there, we can always go for the barn next. Then we could go out for the large battle tower outside the town, if she isn't in either of the two places." He rolled up the map and shoved it in his coat. "Cool, yeah, we're risking out time for a stupid spoiled brat." Wildcat grumbled. "Lighten up, Piggy! It's like a calming stroll, only moreso stressful." Delirious chuckled.

"Yeah, whatever. I could be earning some hard cash right now." Wildcat scoffed, folding his arms. "There's probably a reward for whoever finds her, shush." Mini pat Wildcats head, much to the difficulty of reaching it. He had to climb up his side just to reach his eyes. I chuckled at the thought of Craig crawling up Tyler's side to lock wye switch him. "The heck you giggling about?" Tyler hissed. I shrugged. "Let's check the cottage!" Delirious pointed to a small, worn cottage surrounded by weeds and unkempt grass.

"What do you want from me?!" I shrieked at the brunette girl sitting on the window sill. She just laughed. "You'll see, kid." She cackled and hopped off, double checking the binds securing me to this chair. I felt the inner devil within seethe at her as she bounced out the room, the 'M' person walking in.

"Here." He handed me some food. "Oh yeah, I can definitely eat this without hands or something!" I rolled my eyes, spitting at him. I saw his frown. "I'm sure you'll find a way, Madam." He shrugged, walking out. I glared at the loaf of bread on my lap and tried to clamp my jaw on it, to no avail. The could tie me to a wall with metal chains, that would be better.

I threw my head back and almost toppled backwards, yelping. I realised I could move the chair, as it wasn't bolted to the ground as I thought. I hopped over to the open window, feeling the breeze weave through my loose h/c hair. If I were to jump, then nobody else would be in danger. Aside from Vanoss, who'd be killed by father. I thought to myself, sighing.

I hopped back to the middle of the room and looked around, spotting a large, metal saw. I chuckled and hobbled over, sawing the ropes on my hands and watching them fall off. I then rubbed my wrists, seeing the red rope burn around them. I awkwardly reached behind me, fiddling with the knot around my waist and the chair. I undid it with ease, standing up and ripping the roped off my ankles. I walked to the door and saw the bolt on the outside, cursing.

I peeked through the top window and saw 'M' sitting with his head hung low. I assumed he was sleeping from the snores echoing through the dungeon hallway. I surveyed every crack or crevice around the room and remembered the saw. I took it and sawed through the door, a small hole to fit me through. Of course it was a struggle, I'm not the best carpenter. I wriggled through and fell to the feet of the brunette lady.

"... Hi?" I chuckled nervously. She picked me up by the collar and pinned me to the wall. "KID,  I'm surprised you even got out of there." She growled. I whimpered at the pain in my throat. "If you're so eager to get out, then I'll help you're friends. They're looking for you, if you wanted to know. I can send them a hint of where you are, but it seems they've narrowed the areas down to three spots. A shame none of them are correct." She smirked. "So... what can I do?" I looked deep into the dark face of hers, seeing no eyes. I saw no facial features aside form the snarling smirk.

"Dear, you can be locked up in the special cell." She smiled sweetly, too sweetly. It's like eating something full of sugar, it's not very pleasant. She tossed me into the next room, one with an iron door. I winced as I fell to the stone floor. "Disobey me and you're gonna be disciplined, alright?" She smirked, holding a whip. I whimpered, and nodded.

"Good girl. Now to tell you're friends they're wrong." She cackled and walked out, slamming the door on her leave.

I'M SORRY FOR LACK OF UPDATES. And if you didn't know, I have... astigmatism? I think I spelled that correctly. :/. Anyway, that means I won't be able to write as often, I'm being tested soon again. Really sorry, people. Not like anyone actually reads this, but sure. Hope you enjoyed, anyway!
