Y/n's POV

I walked around the library, tearing through the numerous bookcases, unamused. Vanoss had left with father for a little meeting, and I had to look after his duffel bag. I wonder what's inside... I thought to myself, deciding to be a snoop. I unhooked the weaved hoop around the button attatched to the front and looked around inside, seeing a bunch of sheathed weapons, a book and an ink jar with a small feather pen stuck inside it. I took the book and pawed through it, discovering it to be a small note book.

I read every page, feeling emotions pour into my mind from each word written neatly in cursive. I gasped at the opening of a door. "I'm back!" Vanoss' voice echoed through the large room, soon being hushed by the librarian. I glanced at her with a hopeful expression, having her catch on immediately. She began lecturing Vanoss about how to keep quiet in libraries while I hid the book in a small hidden drawer I made, along with one of the sheathed daggers he had.

"There you are!" He came around just in the nick of time, when I finished sealing his bag. "Y-yeah!" I smiled nervously. Damn stuttering. I stood up and handed Vanoss his bag and ran out into the dining hall, ignoring his remarks. "Hey! You usually say a sassy remark by now, you okay?" He asked me. I nodded, shrugging.

I tried to push the panicked thoughts to the back of my head once my father came in, followed by the butlers carrying the numerous plates of food. I felt myself drool at the large roasted duck in the center of the table as my father sat down. "E- Vanoss, how was this experience?" My father began. E? What was he gonna say?!

"It was fine, I guess. Certainly a tough job." Vanoss smirked at my death glare. "Fugh aff." I hissed, mouth full of foods. "Be ladylike, Y/n." My father scolded me. I swallowed my food and set my cutlery down. I took a handkerchief and dabbed my mouth with it. "Of course father. Would you kindly FUCK OFF, please?" I smirked.

Vanoss stifled a laugh, as my father began fuming. "Y/n, do NOT take that tone with me." He growled. I cleared my throat. "Fuck off~" I sang, earning a grin from Vanoss. "That's IT, Y/n, room, NOW." My father sternly growled. I nodded, smiling. I got up and giggled, running to my room. I heard my father dismiss Vanoss and I smirked, an idea popping up in my head.

VANOSS'S POV

I stood up and grabbed my bag and left, remembering my way through the castle like the back of my hand. I had stolen and thieved from here numerous times, it's only a matter of thinking for them to find out I'm a thief. I grinned and began walking to my friends house, on the border of the town.

I decided to search through my bag for my book and write in the time I had left, which was around thirty minutes. I pawed through my bag, but found no book. I cursed, thinking I dropped it back somewhere. I could just by a new one, I told myself.

"What? A girlfriend?" Delirious' voice purred from behind me. "That's not the best thing to do, paying less for what a girl is worth." He chuckled. "I don't have a girlfriend." I rolled my eyes. "So she's single? I may take her hand in marriage, if her father approves--" I cut him off. "He most certainly wouldn't!" I yelled. "I knew you liked her!" Nogla ran out, followed by Lui.

"I don't! Just... can we get on with it?" I hissed. "Fine. Anyway, we have another person to get rid of. From the enemy clan." Craig walked out, fixing his glasses. "From the Azami clan." He sighed. We all knew how vast they spread over the lands, they were a large company. Rumors have spread, saying they're hunting the royal bloodline to take as their own.

"Who? You have a picture, a name?" I raised an eyebrow. "This is a risky mission, you sure you wanna take it?" Lui said with concern. "I'll be fine. Who is it I have to... eliminate?" I raised an eyebrow. "A person named... Cho Dawn Maralian? I think it's a girl, having light blonde hair. And... brown eyes? I'm not too sure about that one." Craig spoke softly.

"Let's go!" I cheered, taking a dagger and my dual cutlasses. I shoved them in my leather holsters on the sides, remembering Y/n forgot to get my protective leather equipment. I honestly didn't care, most people were weaker than I think.

I took off, speeding to the destination. I hadn't a great description of the character, but I have a brief enough description. I leapt up a large, metallic wall, being sure not to make too loud of a noise when landing on the hollow metal surfaces. I crouched down as a male guard looked in my direction once I landed at the top of the wall. I looked over, seeing he entered back to playing eye spy by himself. I pulled up my hood and wrapped my orange scarf around my face so nobody saw it was me, a small owl decoration on the front.

I was nicknamed 'The Flaming Owl' for my owl accessories on my coat and scarf, as well as the fact that I seemed to be able to hunt like an owl. The flaming part was just from the red and orange coloured assassin gear.

I leapt down to the grassy floor below, seeming to glide as I surveyed the area. I spotted a blonde girl walking around. This was going to be easier than I thought, I thought to myself as I drew my weapons. I snuck behind her in the bushes behind her. The rustling of leaves drew her attention, and her brown eyes looked around. She spotted the bushes I was in and approached them slowly. Shit.

I leapt out and stabbed her, lowering her to the ground slowly as I drew the sword out of her chest. I dragged her into the bushes and parkoured back up the metal wall. I was almost at the top, when an arrow whizzed passed my face. I flinched at the sudden movement, and jumped over loudly. They had spotted me, and I had a large chance of dying in the process of fleeing.

I felt a sharp pain in my shoulder as I landed, causing me to hiss. An arrow was paged deeply into my arm, but I needed to make it back to the guys before I died and didn't get to celebrate with them. I sprinted back, narrowly missing arrows being fired my way. I felt the pain in my arm turn to a numbing sensation, but I kept going. Moo could help, I guess.

'I guess.' Uh huh. If you're wondering, no, I am NOT going to add in OC'S. Just to let you all know, the few people reading this. If you can make a good enough arguement, I'll change my mind, okay? Yeah.
Hope you enjoyed!!!!
