Blah. Drama.
Y/n's POVI felt my lips tremble. Evan didn't get off me, he just brushed my tears away. "I.. I wanted it to be a surprise, a thank you for helping me..." I sobbed, burying myself in his chest. He rubbed circles into my back, sitting us up so we were sitting on the bed.
"I didn't want you t-to get hurt, so I got some friends to teach me how to be like you, S-so I could help you in return--" I hiccuped. "Shh... its alright, you're okay..." Evan calmly whispered, hugging me tightly. It didn't hurt my wounds, however.
"I'm sorry..." I whimpered, softly crying into his chest. He continued to comfort me, stroking my hair and rubbing my back. I calmed my sniffles, breathing steadily. "It's okay. You did a great job, by the way." He sent me a soft smile. I smiled back. "Thanks, Evan. For everything." I grinned.
"But.. I don't know how to repay you." I muttered. "You don't have to. I did this, not really expecting a reward." He laughed. I leaned on his chest, feeling his fast heartbeat. He was nervous, I could tell.
"I'll do anything." I whispered, feeling guilty for the fiery coloured assassin I was snuggled into. He was there for me, always, and yet I couldn't repay him. He protected me with his own life, put me first, gifted me, cared for me even more than my father had and yet, I haven't done anything for him close to that.
"Uh... Fine. There's one thing I might request of you." He smirked. I nodded, a little too desperate. "Alright. Gimme a kiss." He joked, pointing to his cheek. I blushed, but contemplated doing it. I grinned, leaning in and quickly kissing him on the cheek. He spluttered and blushed, earning a giggle from me. "What? You asked for it." I teased. I felt butterflies swarm my stomach. I pressed my head back into his chest, snuggling into him. I felt his heart picking up its pace rapidly, clearly he was flustered.
"I-I was joking, but a-alright." He stammered, blushing. I smiled. "I still feel bad though. Seriously, anything I could do for you?" I inquired. He laughed. "Another kiss~" He grinned. I sighed. He wouldn't tell me seriously, I'll just go with it then. Not that I didn't want to, it just took a lot of courage to do.
I looked him dead in the eye, keeping my composure. I stared into his dark eyes, leaning in. He was about to protest, but stopped himself. He leaned in as well, his eyes fluttering closed, as did mine. I placed my hands around his neck, feeling a wave of nerve swarm my thoughts. I felt my heart beat faster, as time seemed to slow.
(The following isn't what really happened, I promise.)
I opened my eyes, seeing his own a few inches away from mine. I bit my lip, looking toward his lips. I cupped his cheek and pulled him in closer, so I could whisper in his ear. "The thistle flower clan's send their regards." I whispered, then proceeded to stab him in the chest.(Now to what actually happened... I don't wanna write this is grosses me out. But only for you guys~)
I trembled, as his hands snaked around my waist, pulling me close. My lips quivered as he pulled me in for a kiss, sparks flying. I blushed hard as he bit my lip. I gasped, opening my mouth as I felt his tongue snake around inside my mouth, exploring every inch. (EEEEEWWW I'M TOTALLY NOT PURPOSELY DOING THIS TO RUIN THE MOMENT)I smirked into the kiss (more like make out session) and sucked on his tongue, earning a pleased moan from Vanoss. He grinned, pulling away. I panted, almost wishing we didn't need air to survive. My stomach wound ached, but I ignored it. I wanted to do that again.
"That was...." I trailed off. "... Amazing?" Evan finished my sentence for me, grinning mischievously. "Yeah..." I was at a loss for words. I had never experienced anything close to that. I should playfully kiss Evan more often.
"You... wanted to do that?" Evan seemed shocked. "Heh, what can I say? Kissing the person I'm head over heels with shouldn't be something to be disappointed of." Before I knew it, I had pretty much told Evan I was in love with him, and I fell in deep.
"... Head... over heels?" He slowly smiled. I blushed, sighing. It was pretty obvious from the start, anyway.
"I'm not a liar." I smiled softly. He swiftly pulled me into a tender hug. "Why didn't you tell me before you were gonna decide to get married?!" He laughed, cuddling me like a big, cuddly bear. "I couldn't. I had no courage." I muttered.
"You should've! I had been in love with you for a while now." He breathed. I felt my heart quicken in excitement. He... loved me? "... You goof." I muttered, smiling as I tapped his nose. He grinned, clearly overjoyed. Nothing could match how I felt right now, too much happiness was swarming my head.
"Well, guess I have no choice but to admit I've fallen deeply in love with you." I giggled. "I can't describe how overjoyed I am, the person I thought would never return my feelings has just done that." He laughed, booping my nose.
I giggled in return, resuming to bury myself in his chest. It was comfortable, and his heartbeat calmed me. His chest rose and fell, and knowing that he was alive and breathing was all that mattered. He fell backward, making me lie on top of him. I laughed, hugging him tightly.
"I... is this a dream?" He thought aloud. "I hope not, I'm quite enjoying myself." I sighed, relieved. "Then... how is your dad gonna take this?" Evan muttered. I almost stopped breathing. "I... I don't know. I can talk to him about it later." I sighed.
"I'll just embrace this moment, then." Evan laughed. I grinned, yawning. I was supposed to be sleeping. I thought about everything that happened. I tried to help them, got shot, came home, Evan found out and now we know hat we're both in love with eachother.
...Funny way how the world works, isn't it?
