“Ba't yon ang sinabi mo?” Daniel barked at me.
“What do you expect?” I rolled my eyes, seriously.
“Sana sinabi mo man lang na magkaibigan. Like seriously? Cousins? Magpinsan ba tayo? Aish!”
He brushed his hair in frustration.
“Hey, it's not my fault! I just saved my self.” I said a matter-of-factly.
“Fine, fine. If tita would find out, lagot tayo.”
I took a sip of my coffee. Geez! I don't feel like going to School.
“Kathryn, Daniel.. Kumain na kayo at baka ma'late pa kayo sa School.” Biglang sabi ni Manang.
“Ahm, si Daniel nalang po. I'm going to skip my classes today.” I replied at tumango-tango si manang saka nagpaalam na umalis.
“Teka, aabsent ka? Bawal. Hindi pwede. Unless you're not feeling well.” He said and stood in front of me.
“Who the heck are you? You're not my mom, nor my dad so you don't have the right to say so.” I replied and shooed him away.
“Okay then, bahala ka. Fine, I'm leaving.” He turned around motioning his way upstairs.
