Kathryn's POV
Its Monday morning and I'm getting dressed with my regular school uniform when someone knocked on my door.
“Wait!” I yelled.
“Hey sweetie! Paki bilis-bilisan. We're going to be late!” Daniel shouted back sweetly. That's disgusting!
Naglagay ako ng light make up at tumingin muna sa salamin bago lumabas. Pagbukas ko ng pintuan ay agad akong binungad ng napakapanget na mukha ni Daniel. Okay, that was exaggerated. Actually, he looked good on his hair which was properly gelled, and on his white polo shirt paired with black pants.
Tinaasan niya ako ng kilay kaya napa-iwas ako ng tingin at naglakad na paalis.
“Oh mga anak, nandito na ang pagkaing hinanda ko para mamayang tanghalian niyo.” Said manang Dory and gave the basket to Daniel.
“Ayos ba manang?” Biglang sabi niya while doing the pogi sign.
I rolled my eyes.
“Aba, oo naman. Baka mas lalong dumami ang admirers mo niyan.” The middle aged woman praised and they both laughed. I shook my head a little.
“Pero isa lang naman yung taong gusto kong maging admirer,” Daniel grinned, “kaso manhid eh.”
“Ano, hindi pa ba tayo aalis?” I shifted the topic. Bigla naman siyang na alarma.
“O sige na, mag-iingat kayo sa daan.”
“Thanks manang!” I said happily as I stormed my way out.
Pagdating namin sa school ay pinagtitinginan kami ng ibang students habang naglalakad.
“What's with them?” I promptly asked myself.
“Hindi mo alam?” Napalingon ako sa taong kasabay ko sa paglalakad.
“What?”
“Ang gwapo daw kase ng katabi mo.” Daniel quipped and winked at me. He stepped forward and walked hurriedly before I could threw my hand book at his face.
Ugh!
I put my things neatly as I entered the room and found out Daniel's seat was vacant just behind my back. I bet he's busy over something that I do not care of knowing what it is.
Everyone was busy having a small talk, pushing buttons on their phones and all before our teacher came. Just great! She's 20 minutes late.
“I am sorry class, but we will have an emergency meeting at the faculty room. Just do your assignments quietly or anything else that doesn't require talking, okay?” Mrs. Pineda professed to the whole class.
One of my classmate, Karren, stood up and spoke, “Until what time po ang meeting ma'am?”
“I really don't know. Just wait for further announcements. Okay class, Good bye!”
