I gazed down at my hands and they were full of blood. I didn't knew where I was and all I could think was the red liquid on my hands. Then there was a sound of thunder and a flash of lightning, I yelped. My hands were shaking as my knees weakened and a faint voice whispered in my ears, “What did you do?” . It kept repeating beside my ears giving me goosebumps all over my body and I shook my head quickly.
“Stop!” I cried. “Oh God, stop!”
I felt someone gripped my shoulders and shook me lightly.
“Kath! Hey, wake up!”

“Please Daniel, let's find her,” I begged. It's been 3 days since the confrontation with Venus. I was becoming more guilty as I already was. Hindi ako makatulog dahil lagi kong naiisip ang mga sinabi ni Venus.
Nakaupo ako sa aking kama at si Daniel ay nasa aking harapan habang nakaluhod ang isang paa niya at nakahawak sa dalawang kamay ko. I stared down, blankly.
“Yes, we will. Pero magpahinga ka muna... dalawang araw ka ng walang tulog,” Daniel said softly.
Hinawakan ni Daniel ang baba ko at iniangat upang tingnan siya sa mga mata.
“Stop blaming your self for what happened. You didn't mean all of those, okay? Magiging okay rin ang lahat.”
“Hmm..” Tumango ako. I really hope so.
He wrapped his arms around me and I hugged him back.
“Alam ko kung nasaan ang bahay nila, pupunta tayo bukas.”

“Pasok kayo,” sabi ng babae na nasa mid-40s. Iginaya niya kaming dalawa ni Daniel sa loob ng kanilang mansyon at pinaupo sa malaking couch.
So this is where Venus lives. It was made of brick walls. Malaki ang kanilang living room kung saan ang malaking flat screen tv ay nasa 5 meters ang layo mula sa kinauupuan ko.
“I believe you are Kathryn and Daniel, right?” the woman asked quietly. “I'm Sarah, Venus' guardian.”
I blinked twice before nodding. Nakaupo siya sa single chair sa gilid namin ni Daniel.
“Gusto ko po sanang maka-usap si Venus, nandito po ba siya?” I fidgeted on my seat making Daniel slid his hand on my own above my knee.
Huminga ng malalim si tita Sarah bago nagsalita.
“Before anything else, gusto kong humingi ng paumanhin sa kung ano mang ginawa ni Venus. I failed on my job as her guardian. I was too busy but it is not an excuse. I'm really sorry,” she said apologetically.
