Alexander Grayson stood tall, his back straight and stiff as the townsfolk of Mystic Falls passed him on the way into his house. His father had decided to through a gathering and Xander hated it. He hated it because his father was only throwing the gathering so he and Xander's mother could find a suitable bride for their son. He didn't want to get married. He didn't want to get married to a girl but how was he supposed to tell his parents that. He had been making up excuse after excuse and it had bought him enough time to get out of every arranged marriage they had come up with. He was running out of excuses and his parents were starting to get fed up with his persistence in not finding a wife. Soon he wasn't going to have any say in who he married.

He took a glass of champagne and downed it in one gulp, hoping it would cool the nervousness running around his veins. He hated looking over at his parents and seeing them talking to a new family, one that had a daughter Xander's age.

He couldn't take it. He saw his father and mother scanning their eyes along the crowd and he knew they were looking for him. He quickly stepped away into an empty hall way, not wanting to talk to another girl.

His house was fairly large so it would take his maid (who his parents had probably sent out to look for him) to find him. As long as he stayed in the furthest room away, he could only assume he was safe.

Stepping around another corner he was stopped as another body collided with his. Not in the mood to talk to anyone, he looked up quickly and was ready to snap at them but stopped. A pair of beautiful crystal blue eyes stared back at him. He scanned the strangers face and his mouth propped open at the gorgeous raven haired man. He shook his head, trying to rid the thoughts. Thoughts he wished he could think of for girls but it always seemed he was admiring the same gender as him. Of course he never let anyone know of these thoughts. "Um, sorry. I, uh, wasn't looking where I was going." Instead of snapping at the beautiful man he fumbled over his words like an idiot.

"I wasn't looking either. We can just say we were both at fault." The man said, smiling at him and Xander had to stop him self from gazing at the man like a lovesick puppy. The man held out his hand. "I'm Damon Salvatore."

Xander held out his hand and as he gripped Damon's, his breath stopped and he had to clear his throat. "Alexander Grayson. Pleasure to meet you."

Xander's mouth propped open, his eyes squeezing shut and a loud moan drawing from his lips. His head thrown back against the soft pillow behind him and his hands gripping raven black hair. He felt his body shudder in another release and a happy, satisfied grin made its way onto the Vampires face. The man that was between his legs started to kiss his way back up his stomach, his striking blue eyes looking down at him. "Now that's the thing I've missed the most."
