She was so absorbed in her book Julie didn't even notice when her bag grew heavier. She read for hours eventually flipping to the last page, scanning through all the words, and closing it with a happy grin on her face. The series hadn't been ruined yet.
Now she finally noticed a pale yellow book she had not bought. Pulling it out of her bag she had to wonder where it came from.
She opened the front cover.
Juliet,
It's about time I made up for this, don't you think? I can't take back the things I said as a kid, but I promise I'll spend as long as it takes to get you to forget. Our friendship is stronger than that I hope. ;)
-Romeo
She didn't even realize how wide the grin on her face was. She reread his name over and over like a lovesick teenaged girl, which to be fair was getting pretty close to what she was.
Julie hugged the book Romeo had given her. She picked up her phone. This was something she had to thank him for immediately.

THANK YOU!
For what?
You know what for! The book!
That was nothing. I'm just making up for past mistakes.
Well thank you. You are the sweetest guy ever.
Better than Troy?
What does Troy have to do with anything?
You don't like him, do you?
No of course not. He's just a friend. I like someone else...
Oh?
Don't pry. I'm not telling.
Fine.
What about you and Rosie?
There is no me and Rosie.
Oh?
Yeah, we went on one date. Simple as that.
And nothing since.
We're not dating. We're not even going to go out again.
Okay!
Aliena's been asking for you.
Has she?
Yeah, I think she wants you to watch her again.
Maybe I will. She's a sweet kid.
You haven't seen one of her tantrums.
No she really is a sweet kid, usually.
Well maybe I'll just have to babysit again. Anyway thanks for the book. You didn't have to do that you know. I've forgiven you.
I know.
Hey, Jules?
What is it, Cameron?
Promise no matter what we'll always be friends?
Of course! Why?
I've got something to tell you.
What do you need?
I think I'm falling in love with you. (Not sent)
Cameron?

Romeo?
I thought you had something to tell me.
Just forget it. It's nothing.
Are you sure?
Actually it is important. I'm in love with you. (Not sent)
Of course! No big deal.
I won't pry, but if you're sure...
I am sure. It's nothing.
You're okay though, right?
Of course. I'm totally okay.
Hey, hypocritical and quick question. Do you like anyone?
Only one. You (Not sent)
Nope.
