St. Patrick's Day was when they decided to sit down and discuss the two teenagers. So after school they met up at 37 Vienna Drive.
"What do you think they have to talk about?" Julie wondered to Romeo who showed up with Nick.
"Probably talking about how he needs to fire you or something." Romeo winked, teasingly. Julie glared, resisting the urge to smile a tad at his teasing.
"Shut up!"
Romeo threw his arm around Julie's shoulder. "You know I'm only kidding. You're too amazing at your job."
Julie leaned into him causing a proud grin to appear on his face. "Want to spy on them?"
"As much as I love spying with you, I don't think our guardians will forgive us as easily as Ivy and Anthony. Probably not the best idea." Romeo admitted.
"So really what do you think they are talking about?"
"Us." Romeo stated. "Which it probably what we should talk about. So about this morning–"
"Er... Sorry I have to take this!" Julie pretended her phone had rang. Romeo saw through her lie. "It's Ivy. You know how she gets! I got to go." Julie rushed out of the room, pretending to answer her phone.
Romeo rolled his eyes. She really hated confrontation, didn't she?
In the other room Odette Hunter and Uncle Nick were discussing the two teenagers.
"Hello, Nick!" Odette chirped. She shook his hand.
"Hi, Odette"
"Have a seat." Ms. Hunter gestured the table. Nick sat down. "Would you like something to drink?"
"Just a water if that's fine."
Ms. Hunter sat down at the table, handing Nick his water. "I think I can guess why you're here."
"You probably can." Nick smiled, knowingly as he took a sip.
"It's about Romeo and my Julie, isn't it? They seem like very good friends."
"That's the thing... I'm pretty sure they want to be more than friends. At least I know Romeo does." Nick informed.
"Oh?" Odette raised an eyebrow.
"They are always flirting at work and the other night I'm pretty sure Ro was dreaming about her." Nick admitted.
"It was innocent, I hope." Odette took a sip of her ice coffee.
Nick let out a bark of laughter. "I'm sure it was." They went quiet. Nick released a deep breath. "Odette, I think he's in love with her."
"With my Julie?" Odette wondered. "They are so young. I just don't want them breaking each other's hearts. Juliet's already very guarded. One swift heartbreak..."
"I'm just telling you what to expect." Nick stated, standing up. "But for the record, isn't a heartbreaker."
Odette smiled. "We'll see. We'll just have to see what they do."
"I suppose we will."
