"Alright so chapter twenty-five, right?" Romeo asked. He sat down on his bed, expecting Julie to take his desk chair.
"I'm pretty sure that what the test is on." Julie sat down besides him.
"So uh zero over zero is an example of an indeterminate form. A lot of students think it's supposed to be either zero or one, but really it means that the answer hasn't been determined yet." Romeo tried to focus on the words coming out of his mouth and the textbook but she was so close and far more interesting than limits of a function.
Her arm was touching his as she leaned over his textbook. He wanted to be closer. Grab her hand, kiss her cheek, even grab her by the waist and pull her into a long make out session. But of course he couldn't. They were in his room, they weren't dating, and they had studying to do.
So he went back to asking her questions about things he honestly didn't have any care about the material he was talking about. He was just focused on her. Man, did he have it bad.
Her natural rose lips parted as she spoke up. He wanted to kiss her so bad.
"Can we skip ahead and do some problems?" Is what she said. Julie's gaze left the textbook to make eye contact with Romeo's. His mouth suddenly went dry and his face heated up as turquoise met bottle green.
"Are you okay? You look kind of red." Julie stated, worriedly. She pressed her hand to his head, causing his heart to speed up. "You don't seem to have a fever or anything."
"I'm fine." He gulped. She yawned.
"Hey are you tired?" Romeo asked.
"A little." She admitted, doubling the yawn. "I didn't get much sleep last night. I had the weirdest dream."
"I've been there." He chuckled. Julie laughed.
She was exhausted and couldn't even remember her dream to be honest. She had a feeling that he was in it though. He always seemed to make an appearance wherever he was least, and most, wanted.
Her eyelashes fluttered slightly and she rested her head on his shoulder. He tensed up. She was so tired, but she mentally kicked herself. He was clearly uncomfortable.
"Sorry," She mumbled, exhausted. She moved away from him. His hoodie always smelled so good, just like him. It was her turn for her face to turn bright red.
Suddenly it was too hot for him. He took off his precious red hoodie that nearly always was on him.
"Here, it's too hot for me right now." He handed it to her. Julie shook her her head. She couldn't. "I insist."
She pulled his hoodie over her head. Red was a nice color on her, they both agreed. Normally she was always in blue. His hoodie was a bit too big on her but he loved the way she wore it. His grin spread.
She found it hard to stay awake and eventually she couldn't any longer. They changed positions on the bed. She fell asleep.
Romeo was trapped. His arm was underneath her. She had stolen his limb. If he moved she'd wake up and he really didn't want her to have to.
He must have dozed off too.
