Reader's POV

I was walking towards anteiku's to visit my friend touka, i was using back Alley's since touka told me it was faster to use them, I turned a corner and started to walk down a alleyway.

Suddenly I heard something drop behind me and I turned around to see a guy with black hair on the ground "are you ok sir?" I asked and started to walk towards him. I stopped when he slowly stood up, I looked at his face and saw a weird looking mask on his face, i also noticed a zipper went over his mouth "what the" i started to say but got cut off "I'm terribly sorry but I am extremely hungry" he said and reached up toward his mouth-zipper and unzipped it.

I backed away "what do you mean by that" I asked shaking slightly, he tilted his head slowly and I saw something red move behind him, my eyes widened when I saw that he had a kagune and his eye was like a ghoul's "y-your a ghoul?!" I stuttered out, his mouth soon curled into a sickening grin before he vanished. I turned around and ran away trying to get to anteiku's before the ghoul killed me, I pulled out my phone and dialed touka's number, she answered after a few seconds of buzzing.

"What is it y/n?" She asked in a annoyed voice, "touka! A ghoul's trying to kill me, he has a weird looking ma-" I started to say but got knocked to the side with great force. I slammed into the wall and felt the wind get knocked out of me, I took deep breaths trying to get the air back into my lungs. I looked around for my phone and saw a few feet away so I bolted towards it but Before I got to it the ghoul kicked me in my stomach making me fly back and hit the wall again. I coughed and tasted a metallic taste in my mouth and realized I coughed up blood, I held my stomach and stood up shakily.

I looked towards the ghoul and groaned internally when I saw him stomp on my phone.

Touka's POV

I grabbed my coat and rushed out of anteiku's, I grabbed my bunny mask and slipped it on before I released my kagune and jumped up onto a building. I dashed forward jumping between buildings looking down only briefly when I jumped over an alley way. Suddenly a pain shot through my stomach and I misjudged a jump and slammed into a wall. I fell to the ground and felt the wind get knocked out of me, I curled into a ball when I realized I ate food that my friend (I forgot her name) cooked for me. I stood up shakily and ignored the pain and jumped up back onto the building, and continued my search for y/n "come on where are you" I said to myself.

Reader's POV

I tried to stand up but my knees buckled beneath me and I collapsed to the ground, I heard a deep disturbing chuckle, the ghoul looked down at me, the same sickening smile on his face. "ooh I'm going to enjoy eating you" he said with a dark chuckle, I felt something wrap around my leg, I looked down to see his kagune wrapped around my leg. He hoisted me up so I was upside down and face to face with him, he slowly reached toward my face. I closed my eyes accepting my fate when I heard a pained growl, I was suddenly dropped and landed on my back, I opened my eyes to see another ghoul on top of a building, I sat up and pushed myself back until my back hit the wall.

I watched as the ghoul on the roof jumped down and landed a few feet away from the ghoul that tried to kill me "touka what do you think your doing" the killer ghoul growled out, "wait touka?" I said to myself "I'm protecting my friend, what do you think your doing? Your hunting in my territory kaneki" touka growled and took a few steps towards me but kaneki stood in front of me blocking my view of touka "sorry but he's mine" kaneki said smugly, touka shot forward and knocked him away from me.

I watched as he slammed into the wall and collapsed onto the ground, she looked at him for a second before rushing over to me "are you Ok?" She asked, I chuckled softly but coughed up a bit of blood "I could be better, wish I was more presentable for you  touka" I said with a small smile on my face, she sighed and took her mask off and looked down, I noticed she was crying, "hey hey, don't worry, I won't tell anyone" I said, she looked up at me a little shocked then her face turned into a scowl "yeah right, I've heard that before" she mumbled then stood up and started to walk around

"Every time someone figure's out I'm a ghoul I have to kill them because they start doubting our friendship and try to run to the" (fuuuck I forgot the name of the people with suitcases...the CCG? Aagh I forgot, I suck) she crouched down next to me "I dont want to kill you" she whispered with tears still streaming down her face. Suddenly she had a pained look on her face and she fell backwards, "touka?!" I crawled over to her "are you Ok?" I looked down at her, she was curled up in ball holding her stomach "whats wrong, can I help you somehow?" I asked, but she just let out a pained howl "I ate actual food" she whimpered out, I remember that ghouls can't eat actual food, they need to eat flesh.

Well I'd say that we pretty good dont ya think? I'm so fucking sleep deprived I did this between 1:00 to 1:21. I hope you enjoy this, I need sleep and cuddles..... I need like so much cuddles. ;-;
