Reader POV

My whole body was on fire as I collapsed to the ground, a dark, deep laugh echoed out from astroth "you barely got a hit on me" he grunted out "it'll be fun watching all the life drain from your eyes" he twirled his axe around as he walked towards me.

I groaned as I stood up "one last trick up my sleeve" I mumbled to myself, I felt my wings burst from my back and I flew up into the air, I looked down at asroth and lasers shot out of my eyes, his eyes widened and he rolled out of the way, I fell to the ground and landed in my feet but my knees buckled and I dropped to one knee.

My eyes were burning, I rubbed them to get rid of the feeling but it didn't go away, I was interrupted by astaroth slamming his axe into me, I coughed up a bile of blood and looked up at him.

"You were close,you little shit but now, you die" he growled out and raise his axe up above his head, I couldn't move, my muscles were all worn out, suddenly, a blade erupted from his stomach, I recognized it instantly.

Astaroth collapsed as the blade retracted, I tilted my head up to see my girlfriend ivy, standing a few feet away with her sword whip out I smiled at her but she glared at me "you almost lost y/n" she hissed out, I groaned and nodded slowly "I know...thank you for saving me love" I mumbled out before I blacked out.
