Reader POV

Alex mercer, terrorist, monster, you get the jist.

Sadly, I was the same. I had certain powers that labeled me a monster and terrorist, but before we get to that, let me start from the beginning. we both woke up in the morgue and he escaped, I followed him, since I had no idea where I was, I had a feeling he felt the same.

I watched as He almost for gunned down by a group of soldiers and a helicoptor, the helicopter chased him down probably 3 city blocks before he destroyed it.

After that, he stumbled around and feinted in an alley way (that looks Weird <_<) I was about to check up on him but a soldier found him, I dropped down from the roof and punched him, I was expecting him to fly back but my fist went straight through his chest, killing him instantly, obviously.

He fell down and...tendrils appeared from my back and I somehow absorbed his dead body, a searing  hot pain flashed through my head making me grip it.

...images, started to flash before my eyes, I couldn't really describe it, but I heard a few voices, It was muffled and as soon as it started it ended. I was breathing heavily and I shakily looked around, I froze when I heard someone walking near the alley way.

Tiny little tendrils crawled over my skin and I now looked like the soldier I killed and absorbed. When I turned my head, it was a elite soldier, he stomped over to me and looked behind me, he looked at me and handed mW some handcuffs "go get him" he said through his com, I nodded and walked over to him.

Alex was slowly waking up, I pulled him up and i pretended to pit the cuffs on, while I was doing that, I whispered in his ear "kill the soldier in front of you, I'm on your side" I said and pushed him forward.

Alex stumbled forward and tripped, the soldier strode over to Alex and said "get up, you piece of sh-" he didn't get to finish that sentence. Since Alex grabbed him and slammed him on the ground, snapping his neck in the process.

Alex absorbed him and had the same experience like me,when it was over he looked at me and rushed at me, I couldn't react fast enough and he pinned me to the wall. I gripped his arm and tried to push his hand away from my neck.

"Give me a reason not to kill you" he growled out, I quickly changed back to my actual look, and Alex dropped me, I collapsed to the ground and took in big giant breaths, I stood up and looked into Alex's eyes "what do we do now?" I asked, he turned around and walked out of the alleyway "I need to go to my sister's place, you can come along if you want" he said, I smiled and eagerly followed him, not wanting to be alone in this.
