Leader POV

I woke up in a room, I tried to get sit up but a pain that coursed through my body stopped me, I heard a door open and saw the samurai that defeated me,  he was also carrying a tray of food. I glared at him "what are you doing here" I growled out, he shook his head with a small smile on his face "your not very nice considering I saved your life" he said, my eyes widened "wait, where am I?" I asked, he set the tray down and sat in a chair next to the bed "your in my house, you've been in a coma for about 2 weeks, your lackies abandoned you since you lost" he said.

I was speechless, they left their own leader behind, for dead. I looked at him "well, I guess I owe you an apology" I said, he smiled and I had to admit, he was really attractive. "Well yeah, since you are going to stay here from now on, if you want of course" he said

I looked at him in disbelief "wait I'm staying here?!" I asked, he simply nodded "if you want, if you want to leave we won't stop you, and if you stay, we'll welcome you with open arms" he said, his incredible smile gracing his face.

"Wait, how does your village feel about me staying here?" I asked, he laughed loudly and answered "it was their idea" I was speechless, a village actually accepted me.

Reader POV

I watched as tears started to form in her eyes, she looked at me and smile softly "thank you" she choked out, I smiled "no problem" I said and leaned back in my chair "so what's your name?" I asked, she wiped her tears away "Amelia, my name is Amelia" she said, I smiled "that's a beautiful name" I said softly staring into her dark blue eyes.

Her face turned a bright red and she muttered a quick thank you "what's your name?" She asked after her blush went away "y/n" I said, she smiled "that's a wonderful name."

Extra!!!

Amelia leaned on me heavily as I showed her around the village, well, what's left of it of course. She jumped slightly when a horde of kids ran up to her, they looked up at her, she smiled down at them and kneeled down. I taught her a few words in our language so she could somewhat communicate to others.

"Hi, I'm Amelia, what are your names?" She asked softly, the horde of kids all replied at the same time, Amelia looked a little overwhelmed but she smiled anyway, I chuckled softly as she replied as best as she can to the kids question.

When she didn't understand a word or sentence she looked at me and I translated it, she nodded and went back to talking. I smiled as I watched her talking to kids and some adults and thought "maybe, just maybe this could work"
