Reader POV

I was wondering a deserted town looking for resources, I found some granola bars and a chocolate bar!!! I nearly cried when found it, I also found a few bottles of water and a Gatorade.

I also found ammo and a desert eagle, I smiled as I looked at all the thins I found, I zipped my backpack up and stood up, I slung my backpack over my shoulders and strode out of the safehouse.

I holstered my desert eagle and pulled out my pump action shotgun, a few zombies littered the streets and I dealt with them quickly.

I heard a low growl then a scream, I tired around to see something flying at me, it tackled me and I saw that was a hunter, it was about to scratch me but it stopped.

I looked up at it and saw that it was a female hunter? O gasped softly and we stared at each other, it slowly got off me and stood up, I stood up shakily and scanned it, it was dressed like a normal hunter but it was smaller and had long hair that flowed out of the hood.

It sniffed me and tilted its head at me, I reached out and pulled her hood down, she had a rather cute face, if you looked past the dull gray eyes and gray skin.

I smiled and her lips slowly turned into a small smile like mine, suddenly something wrapped around my neck and pulled me back, I gripped what was around my neck and realized it was a smoker tongue.

The female hunter for down on all fours and pounced on the smoker, the tongue around me went limp and I quickly pulled it off.

I stood up and looked behind me to see the female hinter standing over a dead smoker, she turned around and walked over to me "a-a-a-are y-y-y-y-you o-o-o-ok?" She struggled to get out, I nodded "im Ok" thanks to you" I said, she smiled.

And from that day on, we were inseparable, and every day she's looking more and more alive!! Its amazing, she can also speak correctly with out struggling but her hunger for flesh was still there so we had to make some......sacrifices.

I looked down at the latest victim, I lowered my desert eagle and holstered it, I watched as lilac, the female hunter, quickly ripped of a piece of flesh from the body and devoured it.

I smile and rubbed her back as she ate "maybe we can make this work out"
