If I had any idea what to do I would have done it.
But the truth is I'm just as clueless
as everybody actually is.
I only tell myself this to feel better.
I have no calm, no subside,
no safe place in which to reside,
I am always on guard.
So much so that I don't know
how to be anything else.
But if I had any idea how to be
I would have been it by now.
I feel stupid for feeling the same feelings that so many people before me have felt,
because I know that I'll end up okay.
But I cannot stop the worries from
rushing around in my brain
And I know that nothing will change.
How do you stop yourself from being what you always have been?
If I had any idea I would have changed it by now.
