The "Outstanding student? Or just a Good student?"

Yaaay!!! Wait. Am I? How come? An outstanding or good student of what? Hmm... I'm not a teachers pet nor a teachers favorite or whatnot. Huh, maybe I'm just a "good student" because maybe I'm an officer inside the classroom? Or maybe because I don't like speaking too much that's why I look like the good student? Joke. I talk loud. Like, loud. Sometimes. Plastic? Talk about plastic, wait. Am not either. I'm not plastic, metal or even wood for food's sake! So why am I a good student again?

"Sam, you're not just a good student. You're also a good person" weeh

"The moment I saw you I know you're a good and a respectable person" aguuuy!

"You're a good student, Sam. Believe me. You are" I should right?

And maaaaany maaaaany moooore! And there's maaaany maaany questions asking that's been exploding inside my head, note the exaggeration, like "how did you--?" "you sure guys?"

But since they "called" me the "good student" then let's do this! What could possibly go wrong right? Why not let's try! Maybe I'll get an award as being "the good student" applause!!

But hey! You guys won't believe that I actually got an award and not just one you see, it's many, waaaay back preschool haha! "Most Outstanding student" and it's not just a certificate you see, it's a medal with my name on it! Wooow!!! But unfortunately, I didn't know how I became one. I'm a good student with matching award as an outstanding student. Wow I actually excel in school huh? But I think I really do!

Way back in my old school, I used to be one of the top 3 in class with an average of 89-90 ha! But now it's kinda funny because since I got into my new school, the highest average I'm into is 84!!! Hahaha! Better to pass than fail right? And you won't believe that I made it to the top 10 out of 40 in class. And the best in Filipino for 3 consecutive quarters. Wow. Just wow. But unfortunately it didn't happened on the same year. So I made through the top ten the first years then the best in Filipino the second years. That's it hahaha!

I don't know what's the reason they're calling me the "good" and an "outstanding" student. I just don't get it. And I myself don't know if I'm just dumb enough not to know or people just wants to shout it out to my face that "HEY YOU'RE A GOOD AND AN OUTSTANDING STUDENT! LIVE WITH IT!" O...k?

But living with that kind of woot woot! award doesn't mean that the burden is HEAVY. Yaaay!! An outstanding slaaash good student for a reason without me knowing really why. Haha! Seryoso yan mga bes walang halong joke. Pero wala eh, nasa dugo lang ata yan mga bes! But I don't take that as a burden.

Why would I, right? Minsan nga lang naman yan sabi nila kaya grab mo na yang opportunity and yung moment na yan because one day we'll never know makatulong pala siya sayo kaso tinake mo lang siya as a burden. Sayang.

Being an outstanding student might be heavy or whatnot or whatever you want to call it, for some. But others take it as nothing. Like just the usual day for them. Baka sanay na sila or maybe ayaw lang talaga nila
i-take as a burden.

Iba iba kasi ang perspective ng tao when it comes to burdens. Awards. Medals. Grades. But kahit iba iba man yan, at the end of the day naman ginagawa natin pare-pareho ang tungkulin bilang isang estudyanteng nag aaral.
