The "Athlete"

I'm not the outsider type of girl. Like playing outside with the smiling sunny above me. Playing with other children. Well ok, I once did. I once became a child who wakes up early in the morning to run and have fun with those childhood friends of mine but not until I reached grade 6. Woo puberty strike? Haha! But hey, thanks to them and to all those runnings it became my hobby.

Since grade 4 I started joining the "mini olympics" which is being held every month of February in our school. There are maaaany exciting games which can be seen. (Just imagine it so that you can see it too haha!) There's board games, ball games, cheerdance, tug o war. But what really gets my attention is the track and field. OMG!!! I don't know. I just feel like running you know? The smell of the field. The sound of the running feets, wait wut? Those sweats and screams!! And lastly those people waiting for you in the finish line.

Well it all paid off by winning different medals. Well sort of "different". Track and field in grade 4, I won a gold medal. Track and field in grades 5-6, I won bronze medal. When I move up to grade 7 (1st year high school) I joined in the cheerdance competition because I'm also into dancing since I was little then still grab the opportunity to run again. And then again, I won a bronze medal and awarded as champion in the cheerdance competition.  But then, I didn't know that that will be the last track and field of my life. Oh, before I forgot, I also played table tennis and won gold medal and didn't even know why.

Then when I move up to grade 8, The doctor said that my heart is getting weak. I might also get over fatigue and collapse while running a hundred meter dash under the sun. Then going cheerdancing at the same time. The doctor recommends that I should just dance then play some sport that isn't letting the sun come above my head to help me collapse. So yeah, sad to say but yeah. I quit running for the sake of my health and just play a sport that is "less tiring" as what they say. So I played table tennis instead and won a silver medal. And joined the cheerdance competition and won third place.

But when I reached grade 9, nothing. I did nothing. Not like nothing nothing, ok? At the very least I'm breathing while checking the class attendance and also eating my favorite snack. Nachooos hmmm!!!!

Well that's it. Dream crasher ugh! Haha just kidding! I can still run but still needs alot of practice. And hey! Having short legs because I'm short doesn't stop me to run and beat those long legged girls ha!

After those, I never run again like an athlete. Taray athlete to guys! Haha. But don't me guys kasi nakatakbo ulit ako. Yung takbong pang laban talaga. Nung panahong kelangang kelangan ko nang mag CR. Gosh ang sarap sa pakiramdam na makatakbo ng ganun again and syempre yung nalabas ko na yung urine. Success!
