Niall

..........

Honestly I was scared as hell to meet Octobers parents. I don't think they'll be to keen about their daughter dating a guy with metal pieces and ink littering his skin. My thoughts are swatted away when October drops her huge duffle bag on the bed next to me.

"When did you get here?" I ask.

"Well, I talked to Harry about watching Chance while we're gone for about 10 minutes, then struggled dragging this thing up here for who knows how long." She replies sassily.

"Why'd ya bring it up here? Could've left it in my car ya ninny." I tease.

"Shut up. I'm tired okay?" She huffs crossing her arms.

I laugh and sit up to pack the last of my things.

"Niall you know you really didn't have to pay for both of our tickets." October whines for the thousandth time.

"Yes I did. You don't have the money anyways." I shoot back.

"Besides," I say stepping closer to her and planting a light kids on her forehead.

"I'd do anything for my little twat."

She punches me lightly in the chest.

"I am not a twat."

"Fine... I'd do anything for my little asshole." I smirk.

"Unfortunately, I can not argue with your choice of words." October says zipping up my duffle bag for me.

"Well let's get these to the car then, ya?"

Next day

............................

After, we wake up at the ass crack of dawn and get dressed and showered for the day October and I make our way to the airport.

We spent what felt like hours, in different lines, security, and just waiting to board our flight.

It seemed like security took extra long because the guards probably thought I had drugs on me. I wouldn't blame them.

At 7:30 we board our flight and find our seats. October ends up convincing me to give her the window seat. Well, actually it didn't take much convincing because I didn't want her sitting next to some bastard business man the whole flight.

The plane takes off and October leans on my shoulder as she stares out the window.

"Are you nervous?" She asks me.

"Why would I be?"

"Um I don't know, it's just thought you would be, that you're meeting my parents and all."

I sigh and drop the act.

"Ya, I am scared out of my shit. They're not gonna fancy me much."

"Yes, they will Niall! Okay, well maybe not at first because well... they're pretty judgmental at first. But they will once they ease up to you. And if they don't like you, so what. They're just my parents, who fucking cares what they think? And just a warning they like to joke around a lot, take no offense to the name calling."

"October, exactly they are your parents. That's why I care so much of what they think of me." I reply.

"They'll like you okay? Don't worry." She tries to reassure me.

.........................

We get off the plane hours later, and get our things from check out and walk outside to get a cab. The cab takes us to go rent a car. We do rent a car, but I'm scared I'm gonna end up driving on the wrong side of the road so I let October drive us to her house.

We arrive there at 5:00. I'm nervous as hell by now and my palms are sweating like crazy. We unload the car and walk up to the doorstep and ring the bell. As we wait I fuddle with my facial piercings.

"Should I take these out?" I ask her.

"No! You are not changing for my parents. They either except you or they don't."

"That's exactly what I'm scared of Tober!" I say exasperated.

She stands on her tip toes and kisses me on the cheek.

"It'll be fine Ni, don't stress." She says right as the door opens to reveal who I assume is Octobers mother.

"Toby! I've missed you so much!" Her mom says and pulls her into a hug. Her mom is a good 4 inches shorter than October, but they look quite a bit alike.

After her mom pulls away she looks up at me.

"And you must be Toby's boyfriend."

"Yes, I am. Nice to meet you Mrs. Maine." I say trying to sound polite as I reach to shake her hand.

"Nice to meet you too Niall." She says her smile wavering as she studies the piercings and tattoos on me.

It's awkward for a moment before October clears her throat.

"So we better get these upstairs." She says picking up her bags.

I follow suit carrying my own and walking up the stairs with her. We drop the bags in what I assume is her room, and I close the door behind us.

"She hates me." I sigh sitting down on her neatly made bed and looking around the plain room.

"No she doesn't! God Niall. Calm down you've only just met her." October says walking over and sitting on my lap.

I roll my eyes.

"I should've taken out the piercings."

"But I like your piercings." She pouts touching the one in the corner of my lip.

I lean in and kiss her softly before I stand up.

"So where's your dad?" I ask.

"He's probably still at work. He'll be back around 7:00." She replies and starts unpacking.

Oh great. 7:00. The time of my interrogation.

So sorry I haven't updated in forever, but I hope you liked it! I might update later again, if this gets a lot of votes and comments. I'd really like to know what you think.
