I watched Sarah sleep next to me.

She looked so peaceful, it would put a smile on me face if there wasn't one carved in there.

I looked at my phone; Harley had text me again.

'You can't hide forever, I may not be able to trace you but there are only so many places you can hide.'

I glared at the text and quickly responded;

I can hide all I want I know you'll never find me.

Her reply was quick;

Fun! Sounds like a game. If I win I get to keep your pet Raven.

No!

;) Then meet me at our special spot and we'll finish this.

I put the phone down and sighed. It was late and on one else was awake.

My phone buzzed again; Meet you there Puddin' ;)

I sighed and got out from under the covers of Sarah's bed.

"Where are you going?" She moaned like a sleepy child.

"Out for some fresh air." I kissed her cheek, "I'll be back soon."

She nodded and I watched as she drifted off to sleep.

Slowly and carefully, so I didn't wake her again, I scooted out of her bed and stood in the door way. Everything was quiet and I walked out into the main cavern of this cave.

Only the moon light shone through the small opening used as a door, lighting the droplets of water that scattered on the stone stairs.

I climbed them slowly and felt the snow crunch beneath my feet as I reached the surface.

It was cold out, snow falling from the sky.

"What are you doing up?"

I turned around and looked at Riddler, sitting on the log Sarah was sitting on when he hit her.

"Do you want to start another fight?" I raised my eyebrows

He sighed and lowered his head into his hands.

"No." He sighed, "I couldn't sleep."

I internally grinned at my little victory over Riddler.

"I'm leaving."

Riddler looked up with shock.

"What?"

I rolled my eyes and threw him my phone, I wouldn't need it after tonight anyway.

"I have to leave."

He looked at my phone confused and I began walking away.

"Where are you going?" He called.

I turned around and glared at him, he shut up.

"There's no pass code."

I didn't stick around to see if he read the texts, I needed to get myself to the small shack on top of suicide drop near Arkham.

There weren't many cars on the road as I walked through Gotham.

'Harley must have this place scared shit-less.' I half smiled.

There was one car on the side of the road. I headed over to it and taped the drivers window, then put my elbow through it. The car itself was easy to hot-wire and soon I was driving through the streets of Gotham.

I sighed and closed my eyes for a few seconds; Thinking about my life, about how I got here. To be honest I didn't really remember much of it, I only have the stories about what I think happened. But I do remember one thing from when I was eight; When I'd watch a little girl and her brother walk past my house through my bedroom window, even when I was that age I though she looked pretty. Pale skin, she was a bit chubby but it was her hair I loved, and the way it would flicker in the wind like a raven beating it's wings.

I smiled, one of the first genuine smiles I've had in a while.

I could see the old shack on the hill and pulled up next to a black car with dents all over it. Harley was here.

I walked up to the door and knocked three times, it swung open.

"Hello Puddin'."
