I feel really worried now. It has been two months since I got that letter where it said that I can earn money from YouTube, but my first paycheck hasn't even come yet. My parents gave me 200 kroner to spend, but I don't think it will be enough for the both of us. It would be childish to ask them for more money, as I am now an adult and am taking the responsibility of taking care of my girlfriend and keeping her happy.
I noticed one thing about Marzia. She feels lonely when I am in the other room filming. She frequently strokes the carpet floor, like how you stroke an animal affectionately. I asked her that day, whether she used to have a dog. She said she did. Her name is Luna, and she is a pug. This flashback gives me an idea and I save a quarter of the money given by my parents for the purpose. I now look at the remaining money in my hands. Its not very much at all. I don't think it will even buy us vegetables for a week, let alone meat. Who cares about vegetables anyway?
Other than....Marzia.
Marzia and I go to the grocery shop, hand in hand. 'What can we buy with this money? She asks me, looking at me in the cutest way ever. We walk around the aisle when a thirteen year old boy glances at me, does a double take and runs in my direction.
'OH MY GAHD PewDiePie can we please take a picture together?' He asks excitedly. I blush at the unexpected attention when Marzia intentionally walks away. I grab her wrist and pull her close. 'Oh and you're his girlfriend, right?' He asks, surprised. 'Yes...' she nods with a smile, seeming to enjoy the attention.
'Okay...thank you so much for making my day Pewds!'
'No problem! ' I reply, obviously not knowing what to say.
We walk towards Marzia's least favourite section, the junk food section. What can I do if they make junk food cheap on purpose? We see a rack of ramen noodles. Marzia's face brightens up in childish joy and I know for sure that this is what she wants.
We look in front of us and see two offers. One offer is that we get two for the price that will empty my wallet, and one for the price that will empty half my wallet. Marzia points childishly to the two packs and I think for a while. We need water to cook and our water bottles are nearly over.I'll need some money for that too.Someone's going to starve tonight.
'Marzia, we can't. We need to buy water.'
'But there's two of us!'
'No really, we just have to get one pack for dinner Marzia, please.'She looks at me, a little angered and she picks up the pack of noodles rashly while I pick up the water.

Why does he always have to put himself first! I'm really hungry and I need to have something to eat. I can't believe he is even doing this to me. I feel so let down. These men and their mighty egos and their men-come-first nonsense...give me a break. I follow him to the cash counter and politely place the packets on the counter. Felix buys a granola bar and hands it over to me. I snatch it and gnaw on it aggressively. Felix looks rather amused by my behavior, but he's going to have the whole packet of ramen to himself anyways! When we reach home, I hand him the noodle packets and sit on the sofa staring at the walls. Felix calls for me and I come, hands to my hip.
'What?' I accost
'Here, have this.' He gives it to me with a genuine smile on his face. 'I knew you were hungry and you came from another country so it's better you have the while thing.' He says that without any hint of sarcasm or bitterness, just the purity of his heart.
I look at him, bewildered.
'What are you looking at? I knew you thought I was buying it only for myself so I decided to surprise you by showing you how much I actually care'
I feel guilt gnawing in my stomach and I look at him with sorry eyes.
'How about you then?'
'I am...full. I drank a lot of water to suppress the hunger so I'm good.'
'Felix you didn't need to do that for me!''I'm only doing this because I love you!'
I take my fork, twirl it and lift it, and see the long strips on noodles rise, steam emanating from their yellowish exterior.
I come closer to Felix, and I feed him for the very first time.
