Felix had booked tickets only for two days, Christmas Eve and Christmas, so we have to leave today evening.

I remember when Felix had to sleep alone in the guest room, and now he's holding me close on my purple coloured bed, with Luna sleeping on his head. So many things have changed during the past few months, and it's unbelievable. But i have this feeling that the incident from day before yesterday afternoon is going to haunt us both. I hear some sleepy groans from Felix, who retracts his arm from under my head to stretch, and tries to scratch his face when he feels fur instead. He lets out a startled noise and Luna jumps out of fright. I start laughing while Felix catches up. "That was so stupid..." he says in between laughs.

We get up and i go and freshen up. I tie my hair into a bun while Felix watches me with fascination. I smile at him while he traces through every strand of hair contained in the bun. He lightly traces my lips while i continue looking at his bright blue eyes. A twinge of guilt stabs my stomach while i look at his face. Should i actually hide anything from him? He told me that he broke up with his girlfriend!

Would he have told me even if he didn't end up in the hospital?

But those things really shouldn't matter, right? He's my boyfriend now. I lean in for a kiss and so does he. Before our lips touch, Davide barges into the room, makes and exclamation noise and walks out of the room with both his hands up. "Sorry..." he mumbles before he leaves. Felix turns away from me in embarrassment as i don't know whether to smile or scream. A few moments of awkward silence ensue as i decide to go to the kitchen to help my mom with the cooking. I enter and grab a few of our best porcelain plates as my mother discreetly pulls me to a corner.

"Does he know about the suitcase?" My mother asks me with a smile on her face while she speaks in Italian. "No mom, he thinks it's for my period related stuff. I have kept it hidden."

"Ma, i think Felix might doubt me."

"Why?"

"Day before yesterday..." i trail off as Felix approaches us and puts his arm around my shoulder."Good morning!" he salutes in his thick Swedish accent. I love that accent. It makes my stomach go cartwheels every time. My mom gives him a courteous smile. She looks at me, prompting me to translate whatever she says to English.

"Sorry Felix for my behaviour day before yesterday. It was very rude of me. I thought Marzia came alone and since she cried i thought you two...broke up??" my voice went to a crescendo while i spoke these last two words. Felix looks at both of us in shock, not knowing what to say.

I really want to shout at Marzia's mother for making such a stupid assumption, but to be fair, this is only the second time she has seen me. And another mistake on my part, i should've informed her parents before flying here. She's a really young girl and they obviously care a lot for her. I stand there for minutes, not knowing what to say. I decide to do something daring.

I take her mother's hand and kiss it.

"I would never, never hurt your daughter."
