*Felix*
Today is the day of my dream hack seminar. I ring up my parents, and friends (who am I kidding, I don't have friends) and Marzia brings some ramen for breakfast. I wish I can get some money for her to have some good food; I don't care if I don't. I slurp my share of noodles in a jiffy and wait for her to finish nibbling on hers. I find it pretty strange, the way she eats. But she looks so cute doing so! She sips the watery remnant and licks her lips in satisfaction. She tosses her long hair back and smiles at me. I smile back at her and take the dishes to the sink and give them a rinse.*Marzia*
"When do you have to leave?" I ask him, looking at my chapped nail varnish. "In an hour, I guess? Sound check and stuff. Like what am I, a singer?" He jokes. "You're not the only one who's participating in this show, Felix." I remind. "OH, speaking of the show, you can watch it live on YouTube!" He informs and I nod. "I'm definitely gonna watch you." I assure, holding his neck lightly with my hands. Our faces are only a millimeter away from each other when I feel two furry paws trying to claw at my stockings. I lift Maya up and sandwich her between us and we kiss. "We shouldn't do this often." Felix says, after pulling back. I look at him, offended. "No, no...The rarer it is, the more we'll want it and the more magical it'll be. Don't kill me, Marzia" he defends and I smile, agreeing with my cheesy boyfriend. I look at him from head to toe. His dirty blonde hair is messed up from all the teasing and fidgeting; his eyes are as blue as an ocean, his black pupils reminiscent of a black hole; his chin is slightly stubbly, and I derive enjoyment in tracing the small hairs on his face, much to the pure horror of Felix. He is dressed in a beige tee shirt with fan art printed on it. That fan must be so lucky. I can't even buy Felix clothes. He wears a bracelet that looks like a tied up rosary. I tidy up his coarse hair and hug him again. He looks down and bites his lip. "Now what?" I prompt. Felix shrugs. "Nah, I'm nervous." I give him a hug and rub his back. "You'll do well...don't worry... you've been featured on television, remember?" Felix raises his left eyebrow. "How did you see that? It was telecast only in Sweden." I look at his blue eyes. "Hey, have you heard of that thing called YouTube...." Felix screams and blocks the rest of my monologue. "Okay okay I get it" he dismisses and proceeds to put his sneakers on. "I'll be speaking in Swedish, though...oh hey! It's streaming live on YouTube!" He jolts and hits the table with his fist. He shakes his hand and winces in pain and i laugh at him. He kneels on one knee and ties his laces in a double knot. I hand him his phone and wallet and he tucks them in the pocket of his mildly saggy jeans. He gives me another hug and opens the door slowly and dramatically. "Just go already, see you on YouTube..." i roll my eyes and jokingly push him out of the house. Felix sticks his tongue out at me and runs down the staircase. I close the door and lock it with my key and pull the top bolt for safety. I sneak into Felix's computer room and switch on his desktop. I key in the password and giggle quietly. I open the browser and open YouTube. I open another tab to log in to my facebook account. The presence of too many tabs scare me and i accidentally close YouTube. I gasp exasperatedly and hit the padded table with my fingertips.I go to the browser history and the contents of that page make my eyes widen. I cower to the floor in fear and shock, despite being safe within the bolted doors and windows.
Am I not enough?
