*Felix*
I wake up in a daze and assume that the whole thing is just a dream and Marzia is a fairy, until I feel an arm round me. I gently get off the bed and head downstairs to meet my sister. My parents must be off to work. When you are in businesses like fashion I don't think there are many holidays.
I see Fanny on the sofa and I sit next to her and smile. She smiles back and grabs my hand. "So...Felicia is all grown up?" I shrug and chuckle. "I still feel this is all a dream, you know, and she is a fairy, so out of the world beautiful." Fanny smiles and awws at me. "So how was your trip to Italy? Was it worth missing our family dinner?" she jokes. "Maybe, yes. She was pretty homesick and I wanted to surprise her anyway..." she smiles wider.
"So you love her, don't you?" I smile back and feel my cheeks burn slightly.
"I love her so much. She's beautiful, committed, smart, and funny, just everything I ever wanted!" I praise.
"So...trip to Italy." She prompts, detecting me getting sidetracked. "It was great, her parents were pretty nice to me, but since I didn't speak Italian, I couldn't talk to them about the trip and I decided to surprise them too. So when we reached the doorstep, I went back to get the suitcases and her mom opened the door. When I was two steps away, the door shut on my face, when I heard Marzia yell of caution and then the door opened. I really don't know what that was for." Fanny thought for a while, as she twirled her wavy hair around her pointer. "She's eighteen; her parents are bound to worry about her. But-"
we are interrupted by Marzia entering the living room. "Good morning!" she chirps while I look at her affectionately. No one can ever think badly about her. She's like a bad opinion repellant or something. My phone rings and I look at the caller i.d. "its mum." I whisper to fanny as I pick up the phone. It turns out to be a voice message.
"Hello Felix, why don't you pay your grandparents a visit today? It'll make them very happy and will give him something to look forward to this year, now that you also have an actual girlfriend." I hear her contagious yet taunting laugh that she only uses to shade people. Dad and I will meet up today evening for dinner. They both cannot wait to see you! Okay don't do anything stupid. Bye!"
I smile as I end the 'call' and look at my girls. "We have to go to farföräldrar" I instructed when I realized Marzia did not understand me. "Um...grandparents." She nods in understanding and smiles. She grabs her handbag with one hand and I slip it around her shoulder and sneak a kiss on her head while she smiles slyly. "Let's go!" fanny leads and we all pack out of the house while fanny locks the door.
