*Marzia*
Now is the time to finally record my video. And I can finally record it with peace, because I not only have the supplies, I got Felix to open up and reveal a pretty big problem! I straighten out a stray piece of paper lying on the desk. I take out a pen and draw my design. It looks like a cute little monster. Felix walks into the room with a glass of water. "Are you gonna record now?" He asks and I nod nervously. "Hey, I'm recording too! Hope I don't startle your fans when I scream!" he dramatizes. I shrug and he gives me a tight hug. "Don't you worry? You'll do very well. Okay?" I have to go. My computer just finished booting." He yelled over the Windows Vista starting music. I giggled and switched on my laptop. I cleared my throat and spoke some gibberish in my deep voice. I laughed at myself and stuck my tongue out in front of the camera. I pressed the record button and smiled shyly.
"Hello everyone, my name is Marzia and I am going to make a video on how to make your own puppet." I bite my lower lip to stop giggling when I remember how confused Felix was when I told him I was going to make one. "So what you need is a pair of scissors, some buttons, a needle and thread, and a pencil!" I reached out to bend the screen a little bit so that the camera focused on what I am doing. I look at my outline and trace it meticulously on the surprisingly smooth; folded piece of fabric. I look at the outline and smile at the camera in satisfaction. I start in fear when I hear a screech in the opposite room. "Oh that, it's just Felix being an absolutely brave person." I remark sarcastically and smirk at the camera. I cut the cloth carefully, making sure I don't cut within the lines. I stitched it firmly, making sure I stitch fast enough. I make a mental note to make this part a time lapse. Or at least ask Felix to. I turn the puppet inside out to sew in the eyes. In the middle, I sew in a heart from the velvet piece of cloth that Felix chose for me. I try to remember to look at the camera now and then because I won't be talking now. I'll add a narration afterwards. I'm too nervous to speak right now. I bring my forgetfulness to the camera and show it a large tuft of cotton. I stuff it in my puppet and close the gap. I look at it admiringly and give the camera a close up. "Okay, that's it from me now, I hope you like this video, thanks for watching, and I hope I see you again in the next video... if there is a next one. Okay bye!"
I end the recording and run out of our room to escape the cringe. I drink some water and wait for the screams in the other room to subside. Felix finally comes out and clears his throat as if nothing happened. He grabs my glass and drinks some water too. "You done?"
"I don't know."
"What do you mean?"
"I Think I'll have to delete it."
"Hey it's not that bad."
"How do you know?"
"I know."
