"Some of the old folks that we have talked to said that the mine has a curse. Some people that enters it will sometimes vanish or if they are lucky, they will male it out alive but they all have few screws loose claiming they saw mythical creatures or saw something that makes them loose their minds." Kai and Tao informs their group about their gathered information.
"Mythical creature is that something too do with the ogres?" Chen asks.
"Maybe yes, maybe no. It's already 2 am, let's start the sleuthing job in the morning and get a hotel or inn here." Luhan orders.
The travel by vehicle takes more than 7 hours since they have no other means of travelling except by car because the mine is very isolated and near the sea. Luckily, the group found a comfortable inn near the shore where they can rest. After the sharing of bed is assigned, some of them are now headed towards the dreamland. Well, did I tell you some of them??
Luhan releases a long sigh which he doesn't even know he has been holding. He is seating outside the veranda and enjoying the view of the sea and night with his red eyes flashing in the dark.
"Yo! Want to take a sip?" Xiumin asks Luhan to take a sip of their daily supply of blood with Suho on his side. Tao is already asleep with Kris because of the deal for a week and it is surprising that Kris can handle Tao's mood swing very well like Luhan and now, even Tao never admit it, the two had been really close like brothers since they both knew how to speak the same language, Chinese.
"Thanks. I feel very awful today. I think.
.. I think after this mission I need a rest." Luhan massage the bridge of his nose while closing his eyes.
"Easy there. That is only normal 'coz you don't enjoy our day off instead you just went up gathering info about the lose group." Suho pats his back in assurance.
"Yeah. It's been a tough week to you. And to think that our intel went missing, it builds up to your stress and also ... the thing about D.O." Xiumin hesitate for the last word and looks towards to Luhan.
"Yeah.. I've been a bad leader. How come I didn't know that information even he is with us all the time. I am really such naive and I even shouted at him. Even Baek is mad at me now." The brunette takes a sip and sit down at the railing of the veranda.
"Calm down. We insist many limiter to D.O than us and the mere fact that he is opening up to us makes it a good sign that he is trusting us alone. You also said that we shouldn't rush him up that is why you don't invade his personal space." Suho tries to comfort the brunette.
"And also, they also knew that you are just in stress. They can understand you, I guess." Xiumin seconded.
"Thanks. I really hope so. I will apologize to them as soon as we head back to them. But knowing Baekhyun and D.O, I can sense we will meet them soon enough. Get some rest." Luhan said.
