Sidharth's POV:
The mud particles settle down clearing our eye view and I finally could see her standing at a distance, shocked, eyes wide as she scans the long bamboo pole between us.
I quickly make my way towards her and ask if she is okay with concern reflecting in my eyes as well as my voice.
She hesitantly nods taking in the situation and I wrap my hands around her, pulling her close, slowly patting her head resting on my chest as she calmly rests in my comfort.
Soon she relaxes and I move back to see her back to normal as she gives me a small smile.
"I think we should leave this area." She notes as we dump our empty plates in the bin.
"So where do we go now?" I ask leading her out after giving a good long lecture to the management.
"The giant wheel!" The excitement is back in her eyes as she squealed.
I couldn't help but chuckle, reaching out for her hand and lead the way to the wheel.
My attention is diverted towards her when she gasps softly raising my hand in hers to examine.
"When did this happen?" She mocks her eyebrows in concern.
"Uh, I don't know. Maybe when that thing fell out of nowhere?" I scratch the back of my neck with my free arm as she scans the bruises on my arm.
"Let it be, it'll heal. Let's not miss the ride." I say trying to pull my arm out of her grip but she doesn't let it go.
"Don't be stupid. It needs first aid immediately. Look its even bleeding!" She points to the cuts, dragging me in other direction.
"Its nothing Kaira. It will heal eventually." I protest and she just rolls her eyes cutely.
"Do you really think I will leave it like that?" She says irritated by all my protests.
"Well you should." I offer and she suddenly halts making me bump into her lightly.
"Really? Then you don't know me, mister. That thing would burn like hell in some time! Stop being stubborn."
If I don't know you yet, I'm falling in love with you even more with every little thing I get to know about you, sweetheart.
As soon as we reach the help center she asks for an antiseptic and silently puts it to my arm.
"Next time be in your senses when you are up to something and see to it that you don't hurt yourself." She orders in an irritated tone and I just smile at her care.
When she is done, we are back on our way to the wheel, hand in hand, side by side walking silently.
We don't need to talk everytime to enjoy each other's company. The presence is enough.
Or so I thought until she spoke and I realized I like hearing her more.
We reach the entrance to see the giant wheel still filling with people, rotating, and letting people enjoy the view from high above.
Not wanting to waste any more time, we get in line. Damn it was long! It took us full 15 mins to get a place on the wheel. But it wasn't boring, listening to her narratives of yet another one of her memories.
She exclaims the beach carnival at Goa was the best she ever had been to, which she went with her best friends when she was a teenager.
"-So that way he jumped in the sea without thinking and we had to bring security to get him out of the waves!" She exclaims and laughs rewinding her memories of their Goa trip.
