Kaira's POV:

Get a grip, Kaira!

Getting hold of the V in the pipe tightly, I pulled myself up in a stable position.

I sighed. That was close to getting my bones broken. Or worse let anyone know I was trying to sneak in my fiancé's house.

My heartbeat came to normal when my feet were flat on Sidharth's balcony. I patted my shoulder proudly for completing this 3-floor climb.

Damn, I broke my record of 2 floors!

Tiptoeing in the corridor, I noticed the light coming from his study and made my way over to it as quietly as possible.

I grinned standing in front of it and knocked.

Sidharth's voice grumbled from inside "Now what is it Adi? I have work to complete!"

Adi? Was he troubling him again?

Frowning I twisted the handle and walked in quietly. My frown was replaced by a smile as soon as my eyes fell on the person sitting behind the desk.

Sidharth was working on his laptop, his hair in a delicious looking mess, eyes focused on the screen and fingers tapping away at bullet speed across the keyboard.

How is he so handsome in everything he does?

I sighed inwardly as I just kept staring at him until he looked up and our eyes meet. His jaw drops and everything around us seemed to pause.

"Kaira!" He exclaimed "What—"

"Sshh! Keep it low! We don't want to wake up everyone!" I whisper yell as I cover the distance between us and stand in front of him, the desk between us. His eyes never left me as I dump down in the chair beside me flashing him a smile.

"What are you doing here? That too at this time?" He asks calmly.

"I missed you." I shrugged and his lips slide up in a half-smile "And today was Saturday, you couldn't come over so I did. Big deal!"

His smile was melting my heart as he asked "Do you know what time it is?"

Narrowing my eyes at the watch I said "Yeah, its 1 hour from I decided to come over. But I should be asking you that! You should be sleeping by now."

He chuckled "This deal is really important, Kaira. Though the meeting is in a few days I want it to be perfect! The minx is a really important company. It brings us new technologies and improves—"

My mind stayed at the name of the company he is so excited for and I decided I wanted to tell him.

"Sidharth" I interrupted him and he looks at me confused "Can I give you a suggestion?"

He smiled "Of course."

"Um— get the meeting with them done as soon as possible, I know your plans will impress them. Don't wait for too long—"

"What happened?" He interrupted, his eyes were slightly worried as they meet mine "Why are you hesitating? What is it? Go on."

How does he ways catch it?

"Its nothing with me. I'm worried for you, you are so excited and working your best for this deal and it would be bad if you take too long and your rivals win this project over—"

"Vikram Chatterjee? Of course, he is behind this one as well! I will—" He stopped typing on his laptop cutting himself off and narrows his eyes at me "Wait. How do you about his interests?"
